1. Candidates shortlisted based on the cut-offs will receive an invitation to apply for the Merit Scholarship.
2. As a part of the scholarship application, candidates will be required to submit a form with a Statement Of Purpose (SOP), along with the latest Income Tax Return of their parents/guardian. This application form will be open for 5 days.
3. Candidates will be further shortlisted by a scholarship committee based on the caliber of their SOP and family income analysis.  Those that make the short list at this point could also have to show up for an in-person interview with the committee.
4. Depending on how well they perform overall during the selection process, successful candidates will either earn a 100% tuition fee waiver or a 100% tuition and residence waiver.

Ashoka University MA fee is INR 11.3 lakh. The fee mentioned here is not applicable to MA (Liberal Studies). A refundable security deposit of INR 20,000 and meal cost security deposit of INR 25,000 (if opted-in for Residence) at the time of acceptance of the offer of admission will also be charged. The mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The total number of students placed during Ashoka University placements 2025 was 437. The 2024 batch comprised 1,110 students. Out of these 355 students opted for placements and 311 opted for higher education, family business, entrepreneurship, competitive exams and pursuing a gap year. Ashoka University offers admission to aspirants based on their scores in Ashoka Aptitude Assessment. Aspirants also need to pass the on-the-spot-essay round for UG courses. Selected aspirants are further called for a PI round.
