Satisfactory facilities and faculty available at this college.

Placements: In the B.Sc. Computer Science course, 30-50% of the students get on-campus placements at Ashoka University. 3-6 LPA is the average package offered in our course. Top recruiters at our college were Infosys, HCL Solutions, TCS, Miraj Solutions, etc. Top roles offered in our course were Software Developers, Web Developers, PHP Developers, etc.

Infrastructure: Ashoka University has really good infrastructure for B.Sc. Computer Science. A good college with the top faculty and facilities.

Placements: Every year, 60–70% of students get on-campus placements. College placement is not highly developed but it is very active. The average package for our course is 3–4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, etc. The roles offered are those of interns and developers. Many students get internship offers.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very new and developed because it is not very old. The labs and libraries are fully equipped. There are medical and sports facilities available at the college. The hostel rooms are clean and big. The food in the hostel mess is delicious and tasty.

Faculty: All the teachers at the college are very helpful and qualified. Most teachers are experienced and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very impressive. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry and helps the students get job-ready. The semester exams are not that tough.

Other: It is a very good college. There are various extracurricular activities organized at the college. Teachers are very supportive and helpful.

I suggest you join this university.

Placements: I have no idea about the number of students in our course got placed. I do not know about the salary offered to the students. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google and other MNCs visit our campus for placements. Since it is a liberal arts college, we can get any job. There are no limitations. Roles like data science, software, and research offered are quite popular.

Infrastructure: The college provides super-fast Wi-Fi facility for students. It is probably faster than other colleges Wi-Fi facility. The library is top-notch, and it has all the books a college student would ever want. Hostel rooms are great, and almost like a hotel. Food served is amazing at a cheap rate. They serve butter chicken regularly.

Faculty: Almost all our faculty members are from Ivy League universities. The course curriculum is relevant. It is a liberal arts college just like Harvard and all other universities.

Ashoka University accepts students from all +2 level qualifications recognized by the AIU. For International Baccalaureate (IB) students, only applicants enrolled under the Diploma Program and awarded the Diploma of the International Baccalaureate are eligible to apply for the undergraduate program at Ashoka University. Students enrolled in and awarded the IB Certificate Programme are not eligible to apply or receive admission into Ashoka University. For students enrolled in the Cambridge Board, applicants must appear for a minimum of 3 subjects at the A-level to be eligible to apply to the undergraduate program at Ashoka University. For all other boards, students have to share a conversion sheet/normalization scale or any detailing around the grading/scoring system used by the board/school authorities with the Admissions Committee.

Students of Ashoka University who wish to Major or Minor in the following disciplines should have studied Mathematics in their senior school years (Class XI and XII). Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview and on-the-spot assessment comprising of an essay and an optional AAT (Ashoka Aptitude Test) on the basis of 10+2 marks, extracurricular activities and ACT (American College Testing) or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores. Higher score out of AAT (Ashoka Aptitude Test) or ACT (American College Testing) or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or board marks will be considered while taking a decision on an applicant’s candidature. In case a candidate is unable to appear for the interview, he/she may attend the interview over Skype.
Final Selection
Students will be selected based on their potential for academic rigor and extra-curricular engagement. These include AAT (Ashoka Aptitude Test) or ACT (American College Testing) or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores or 10+2 marks projects, and research, if applicable, as well as the disciplined and committed pursuit of varied interests and passions. Equally, the on-the-spot essay written at the time of the interview and the in-person interview with the panel, also contribute to the decision for admission.
