Assam Agricultural University at a glance.
Placements: Placements are below par post-graduation. But obviously, agriculture demands higher studies, and one can get ample career opportunities after PG or PhD. Though one can easily go for government competitive exams after graduation. Also, a decent no. of job openings are available in the private sector as well, but this is mostly a government job-oriented degree/field.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty decent. The rooms are triple-sharing and double-sharing. Ample laboratories are present for research purposes. Though the quality of water is a bit bad, it's still manageable. Wi-Fi is present in every hostel. Sports infrastructure is also pretty good. Canteen hygiene is maintained well.
Faculty: Faculty is helpful. Most of the professors are well-versed in their subjects. The standard of exams is medium to difficult. The course is relevant and is continuously revised to keep up with the changes in the agricultural field. The pass percentage is almost 95%. It's not that tough to pass the exams.
Other: Ample opportunities for extracurricular activities. Fests are annual. An annual college week is also held every year, which is an inter-hostel cultural and sports tournament. One thing I would like to suggest to the course is more industry exposure and also better placement opportunities.

Overall, best college according to me. I will recommend; there is 100 percent internship also
Placements: According to my knowledge, 70-80 percent are placed. The highest is 12 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. Top companies are Punjab National Bank, Amul, Federal Bank, and roles were manager type. Many SEED companies, tea companies, mushroom production factories, and other dairy companies also recruited.
Infrastructure: Facilities are top-notch, to be honest, except the hostel. Classes are top-notch. The campus is really good. I am not lying. The campus is very big and well developed. Classes have AC. We have a gym, canteen, sport, volleyball ground, cricket ground, basketball court. Wi-Fi is also working very nicely. Mess food is average, but the bathroom is bad.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated; 90 percent are Ph.D. holders. Notes are also good. The curriculum is given by ICAR, so there is more practical knowledge. Semester exams are a bit different for us. Pass percentage is around 90 percent. We have various practical classes which show us how to do work practically.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Agriculture and Agronomy because Assam is known for its tea and agricultural background. So I chose this college instead of others. It is ranked 13th in agriculture. Events like Freshers and Diwali Night also occur on our campus. Scholarships are available, 2000k/month if we get 8 CGPA at the end of the semester exams.

It is the best veterinary college in Northeast India.
Placements: Maximum passed-out students are working in various government and private sectors. Some are running their farms and clinics. Many of them are working as Veterinary Officers (V.O.) in various districts. Some are working as Food Safety Officers (F.S.O.), and others are working in laboratories and various pharmaceutical companies.
Infrastructure: The buildings are good and very suitable for the needed facilities. The campus is full of trees and greenery. Classrooms are good and have digital boards, microphones, and a sound amplifying system. For practical education, laboratories and instructional farms are also present.
Faculty: Faculty members are amazing. They have completed their Master's and Ph.D. from reputed institutes in India, and many of them have done their higher studies in internationally reputed universities abroad. Their lecture delivery and practical teaching are fantastic.

This is the best veterinary college in the entire East region if you have a deep love for animals.
Placements: About 75% of students from the department get placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA. 100% of students receive internships from our college. The top roles offered include becoming a veterinary doctor.
Infrastructure: Food is good. Labs are high everything is good. The library is one of the biggest in our entire union of colleges under the university. The food is clean and palatable not many spices but is nutritious at the same time. The mess and canteen are clean and affordable. Medical and sports facilities are available as usual.
Faculty: Studies are very good. I love the course so much that I chose it. I appreciate the yearly exam system because it gives us more time to study throughout the year. We don't follow a semester system. Exams can be difficult and hectic, but they teach us a lot.
Other: There is less competition in this field, so I like the course. ACM, ICM, and other festivals are organized at our college. A variety of sports events take place here, and I enjoy participating in them.

The college is government-run, so only the admission fee is required. Fees are affordable.
Placements: There are a total of 50 students present in our class. The college is government, so only the admission fee is required. The college provides internships for all the students, which is also called RAWEp. The college is very good.
Infrastructure: All subjects have different laboratories like Soil lab, PBG lab, Ento lab, and also have an orchard for the horticulture department. Wi-Fi facilities are available everywhere, like in the hostel, classrooms, and even the library. The canteen facility is best. The canteen is located near the classrooms.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers is very good. They are very helpful and even help with your personal problems. Semester exams are difficult, but the passing percentage is 100%. This course is curriculum relevant and course offers many opportunities.
Other: I chose this college because it is practical-based, which is required for every farmer.
