Note:
- However, all scholarships are limited to tuition costs and are dependent on the number of students in the class.
- A scholarship cannot be given if the attendance rate is lower than 75%
Scholarship Amounts and Benefits
The scholarship benefits of the BBDU are dependent on the kind of scholarship one gets. Below are the details on the scholarship benefits of BBDU.
Scholarships for PG Students
25% Scholarship as Fee Concession to the students applying for admission in all PG courses at BBDU in case they have passed their UG courses from BBDU. This is applicable for one year only as follows:
- MBA-15% concession in Tuition Fee only
- Other PG courses-20% concession in Tuition Fee only
Ph.D. Scholarship (for the whole Ph.D. Program)
25% Scholarship as Fee concession to the faculty members of BBD University applying for admission in the Ph.D. Program.
- Also, this Scholarship is applicable for Internal PG Students.
Some other scholarships offered by BBD University
Scholarship for handicapped:
- 10% Scholarship (Tuition Fees) in any Course at BBD University Lucknow will be given to students belonging to the Handicapped Category as per Government norms.
Scholarship for ward of army personnel:
- 10% Scholarship (Tuition Fees) in any Course will be provided to students of BBD University Lucknow who are eligible for admission in Army quota as per Government norms.
Special Scholarship (Only for students of Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow)
- A scholarship of INR 2000/- per year will be provided to all BBDU students if they maintain 80% attendance and INR 1000/- per year if they maintain 75% attendance in their previous academic year. (This is applicable to Second Year Students Only.)
- All BBDU Students will get a scholarship of 5% of their Tuition Fee for that Semester in which they have won a national or international-level competition in Sports, extracurricular events, and technical/cultural event.
Employee quota scholarship for BBD University
- A scholarship of 10% on tuition fee for any course would be provided to the student of BBD University Lucknow falling under Employee quota as per Government guidelines.
- A scholarship of 15% on tuition fee for any course would be provided to the ward (son/daughter) of any employee of BBD Educational Group with a service period of more than 3 years without any break.
- A scholarship of 20% on tuition fee for any course would be provided to the ward (son/daughter) of any employee of BBD Educational Group with a service period of more than 5 years without any break.
*Note: For availing or continuing with all above scholarships in the second year onwards, minimum class attendance of 75% is mandatory.
BBDU Lucknow Scholarship application process
Before applying for BBDU Scholarship, the candidate needs to ensure their eligibility criteria for that scholarship. After ensuring the same, the student has to apply for the scholarship within the deadline. The following are the steps:
