The course of study leading to M.A. in Psychology shall be conducted at Banaras Hindu University.
There will be a certain number of seats for admission in this course.
The admission procedure will be adopted which is being followed for admission to other similar courses formulated by the Academic Council of the Banaras Hindu University.
The last date of receipt of application for admission to this course shall be fixed each year by the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University.
Candidates admitted in this course are required to submit the following certificates at the time of admission:
a. Marksheet of the qualifying examination from the University/College.
b. A migration certificate from the University last attended in the case of a candidate from another Indian University, indicating that he/she has passed the indicated course;
c. A transfer certificate showing that the candidate has passed the indicated examinations from the College/Faculty last attended;
d. A character certificate from the Principal/Dean/Head of the college/Faculty/Department last attended.
e. Recent caste certificate, if applicable, from the competent authority.
On his/her selection for admission in this course, the candidate shall, within the time fixed by the Registrar, Banaras Hindu University deposit the tuition and other fees prescribed or the purpose.

If a student withdraws before the commencement of the course, the entire fee will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000/-
If a student withdraws after the commencement of the course but before the end of the first month, 90% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
If a student withdraws after the end of the first month but before the end of the second month, 80% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
If a student withdraws after the end of the second month but before the end of the third month, 70% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
If a student withdraws after the end of the third month but before the end of the fourth month, 60% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
If a student withdraws after the end of the fourth month but before the end of the fifth month, 50% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
If a student withdraws after the end of the fifth month but before the end of the sixth month, 40% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
If a student withdraws after the end of the sixth month but before the end of the seventh month, 30% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
