Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Allahabad Extension Center.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in this course. The remaining students opted for higher studies in foreign or India. Top recruiting companies visited our college for recruitment. The salary package was decent. Top roles were offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Hostels were not provided on our campus. We had to find suitable accommodation. PGs or rented rooms were also available. The food quality was decent.

Faculty: Faculty members were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Various things were useful in the industry.

Placements could have been better in 2018 and infrastructure and facilities were on point.

Placements: Only 20% of our batch was placed in the course including me and have joined TCS. The other 80% of students are pursuing higher studies as MBA and MCA. The minimum package offered was 3.3LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS and WIPRO. Top roles offered were as Developer. 20% of the students from our course GOT the chance of internship from the same companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure available for my course were Library, Playfield, Mini-Auditorium, Labs, and Wi-Fi. Facilities were fine in the hostel and limited. We arranged Wi-Fi on our own otherwise the locality was fine and there were food joints just 6 k. m. away from my hostel.

Faculty: Teachers were skilled and very professional. The teaching quality was good and the faculty present there was very knowledgeable. The course is relevant but in my opinion, I would also like to pursue higher studies as we are somewhat a little short of B.Tech employees.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn more about computers and as well as place a foot in the IT industry. Everything provided was very good and precise. We had a lot of events and I also hosted the last cultural fest and gaming fest for my college.

Review of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra - Allahabad Extension Center.

Placements: Placements at Allahabad campus of BIT are nonexistent. Students have to travel to Mesra campus on their own expense and stay there till they get placed, which is not guaranteed because students from Mesra campus get priority. Salary package for BBA students starts from 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: There is no canteen or hostel facility. There are a couple of private hostels which are in bad condition, and the food served is also bad. The library is comparatively better, but you can only get 2 books at a time. Infrastructure is not as bad as they have air-conditioned classrooms.

Faculty: Teachers are more or less the same as in any college. Some teachers are good at the subjects they teach, and some are pathetic. Dr Ashish Dubey is one of the best professors at the Allahabad campus. Teachers for BCA students are good.
