Placements: Birla Institute of Technology, Lalpur, offers a decent course. The highest placement package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Around 65% of students got internships. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. TCS offered top roles like software developer.
Infrastructure: The BCA department has good infrastructure with smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a digital library. Facilities are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis for new admissions. Hostels are decent, with clean rooms, mess, and 24/7 security.
Faculty: The BCA course has a relevant curriculum with subjects aligned to industry needs. Teachers are helpful, qualified, and use practical methods. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is around 85%. The course prepares students well for the IT field.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Lalpur.
Placements: Almost all students got the opportunity for placement, but it depends on the students whether they are interested or not. The lowest package is 2 LPA and the highest is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Tech Mahindra, SAP, Technook, Niva Bupa, etc. About the internship, it also depends on the students whether they want to do it or not, by themselves in whatever companies.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are highly maintained. They have projectors, AC, fans, and all required facilities for students. Wi-Fi is available but only for faculty members and staff. Lift is also available for everyone. The library is also well-maintained. There is no hostel available on the Lalpur campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. They guide students in any situation and will help solve problems, even after being asked hundreds of times. They also offer career guidance. Semester exams are not difficult, as the questions are based on what is taught in class.
Other: Extracurricular activities include hackathons and events which require knowledge and skills. The campus is small but environment-friendly.

BIT Lalpur: Academic Excellence and Activities.
Placements: Almost 90-100 students got placed at Wipro, 2 got placed at SAP, and 60-70 at TCS. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and SAP. No one got an internship as no company came for internship purposes. Top roles offered were Web Developer and Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, labs are well-equipped with the latest hardware and software, classrooms are air-conditioned and well-furnished, and smart classes are available. The library has a well-set of academic books. There are no hostel facilities at BIT Lalpur. There are two buildings: the main building, where mainly office work happens, and the second building, where all the classes go on. There is one playground for playing kho-kho and kabaddi, and also a sufficient parking area.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced, have higher degrees, and are very helpful and knowledgeable. They don't make any student feel left behind. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant but should be improved by encouraging practical approaches rather than focusing on theories and giving exams. Semester papers were moderate; almost what was taught in class only came in the exam.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for technology. Every year, the college organizes a fest in the month of February with lots of events ranging from technical to cultural.

My course journey in BIT Lalpur Ranchi.
Placements: I am pursuing a BCA course in Lalpur, Ranchi. The BCA course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their industry, ensuring a blend of academic rigor and practical experience. The average package at our college is 3–4 LPA. Our college does not provide any internship opportunities for students. Our college has good academic support available for students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very decent infrastructure available for students. Wi-Fi is not available for students; it is only for faculty members. The labs are good, and the and the library has decent facilities available for students, but a limited quantity of books are there. There is no hostel or canteen facility for the students.
Faculty: In this college, faculty members are very supportive, helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also too good. The course curriculum of this college made students ready for the IT industry. The semester exams are also held from time to time and the passing criteria is for you to score 40+ out of 100 marks in each subject.
Other: I am choosing the BCA course at BIT Lalpur because it provides a number of opportunities to enhance our skills. Events and extracurricular activities are provided for students who are interested.

Poor infrastructure, good faculty and good connectivity.
Placements: In this college those who is having some extra skill they have more chance to get placed, but also if the student is dedicated to his studies are also get placed. SEE in Our college good companies visits they also take students with them if you are good at studies and have confidence in yourself !
Try to have some extra skills rather than your course syllabus It will help you grow more.
Infrastructure: SEE the infrastructure part is not so good, it is a very short campus not having ground, canteen or you cannot do extra curricular activities because there is no such place but, We have societies and NGO also CCL events, Bitotsav and much more. Lalpur BIT does not provide you hostel you have to manage that but in that area there are hundred of hostel so will be good
.
Faculty: Yes teachers are qualified here most of them are Ph.D. holders and exam pattern is average if you study well everything is fine. Also do not fully depend on the teacher that what they will teach you will understand everything properly. You have to do some extra with yourself!

Journey of Graduation: Steps towards the goals.
Placements: In 2023, Only two companies came to our college. The first one is SAP and the other is Wipro. This year BIT Lalpur campus placements are negligible. Due to the previous batch's mistake. The students of the 2023 BCA batch suffered. We did not get placements as we were expecting.
Infrastructure: There are two computer laboratories on the campus. The college has provided a lift for disabled people. The environment of the college is good. There is a projector and AC is installed in every class. The college provides quality education. The college provides Microsoft Office.
Faculty: There is a large Library inside the campus. All the books are available which is important in the Academic curriculum. The professors are well-qualified. The professors hold PhD degrees with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The curriculum is relevant. The Semester exams are not that difficult. You can easily pass every semester exam. You just have to focus on class activities and lectures.
