at Central University of Kashmir, Srinagar

Central University of Kashmir accepts the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) scores followed by counselling for admission to its various courses. To be eligible for admission to CUK, candidates are required to register and appear for CUET. In 2022, the university released the final scores for various courses as tabulated below:

Central University of Kashmir offers entrance-based admission to all its courses. The college accepts the score of the CUET entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG and PG courses. Further, for MBA and BTech courses the university provide seat based on CMAT and JEE Main score, rsepectively. To be eligible for admission to any courses, candidates must apply and appear for the entrance exam.

The Central University of Kashmir PG admission to MA, MSc and MCom, among other courses are based on candidates' performance in the CUET PG entranc exam, followed by a university based counselling rounds. During the CUK CUET PG 2024 cutoff, the most in-demand course was M.A. of Law (LL.M.) with a last round score of 100 for the General AI quota. For the OBC category students, the round 1 and the last round cutoff scores were 93 and 59, respectively in the AI quota.

The University has not released the separate placement data for BSc. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses has been released. Out of 56 UG (3-year) graduates 32 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, out of 49 students 10 were placed successfully. A major concern about CUK for admission is the geographical placement of the University. The University is located in Srinagar and offers great set of courses along with placement opportunities and assistance. Apart from this, the University also offers scholarships for eligible candidates with technologically advanced infrastructure. It follows a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) for the evaluation of all UG and PG programmes.

Central University of Kashmir cutoff 2024 has been concluded with the release of Round 12 in the form of opening and closing scores across different AI and HS categories. Considering the Central University of Kashmir CUET cutoff 2024, students get into Central University of Kashmir with a score of 50 marks under General AI category as per the Last Round cutoff. The only course for which one can get an admission at a score of 49.4 was Computer Science and Engineering. Check out the table below for more information:

Admission to CU Kashmir includes merit and entrance based eligibility criteria. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 along with valid scores in CUET UG/PG for the admission to UG and PG level courses. Furthermore, candidates must apply through the official website of the University. Shortlisted candidates must pay the fees and confirm the seat.

The Central University of Kashmir is a public university established in 2009. It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a "B+" grade. The university offers undergraduate admissions in various streams, including science, technology, education, social sciences, business administration, and computer application.
