Q: How much minimum percentage is required for BDes (Hons) at CEPT?

A candidate can apply for BDes (Hons) at CEPT University if they had these any two of the following qualifications- Applicants should have passed the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or its equivalent examination from any streams (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities), from Gujarat state board or any other State boards or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/IB, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% aggregate for all subjects. Applicants should have passed the Diploma (Graduation) of Arts, Applied Arts, Photography, Animation, Interior Design, Architecture, Achitectural Assistantship, Fashion Technology, Handloom Technology, Printing Technology, Ceramic Technology, Leather Technology, Civil, Mechanical, Production, Automobile, with minimum 50% aggregate from Technical Board of Gujarat or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 will be eligible to apply for the programme.

Q: What is the step-wise UCEED 2025 counseling process?

The 1st step of UCEED 2025 counseling is online registration. The counseling registration process for UCEED 2025 will be conducted starting the 2nd week of March 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam and have been assigned a merit rank in UCEED 2024 were eligible to participate in the counseling process. The 2nd step is selection of campuses. Eligible candidates had to register for counseling and select their choice of colleges in the order of priority at the time of registration. In the 3rd step, seat allotment is made. The allotment of seats is as per the merit rank of the candidate in UCEED 2025 and choices selected. Post the allotment of seats, the candidate have to pay the sea-acceptance fee and confirm their admission.

Q: Where can I check UCEED 2025 results?

The results for the UCEED 2025 exam will be announced online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The direct result link will be provided in this article. Note that the result will not be sent by post or any other means, including by email. To check their results, the candidate needs to log in to the result portal using their email ID and password. The results of UCEED 2025 will be declared on March 7, 2025. IIT Bombay will release the draft answer key on Janaury 21, 2025, while the FINAL key will be released on January 29, 2025.

Q: When can I upload comments against the draft answer key of UCEED 2025?

The draft answer keys of UCEED 2025 will be released on Janaury 21, 2024. The candidate will be given an option to upload comments against the draft key from Janaury 21-23, 2024. To upload comments, the candidate will have to go to the UCEED 2025 admission portal and click on the relevant link. The candidate will have to next log in using their candidate credentials. After logging in, fill in the objection form, upload supporting documents, and pay the relevant fees. Comments have to be submitted online through the candidate portal. The admission committe will consider the comments and then publish the final answer key.

CEPT University BDes (Hons) Placements

CEPT University has not released the 2023 placement statistics yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 has been released for the Architecture courses. As per the report, 59 BArch and 153 MArch students were placed during CEPT University placements in 2022. The median package for BArch and MArch courses during CEPT placements in 2022 stood at INR 5 LPA and INR 5.50 LPA, respectively.

Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University (CEPT) has a career services office that assists in placements and has developed a planned programme to reach all possible prospective recruiters. According to some media reports, the CEPT placement cell comprises the faculty coordinator and the student representatives who drive the entire process of placement activities. Students are generally groomed from the third semester.

The 2023 placement details are not disclosed officially. Earlier, out of 102 BArch students, 59 were placed during 2022 placements. Additionally, out of 202 MArch graduates, 153 were placed during 2022 CEPT placements. The median package for BArch and MArch courses has improved from 2021 to 2022. Productions of professionals.

Placements: It's depend on the student to student who is eligible for the good placement or not eligible. The highest salary offered to the student is about 5 to 6 Lacs per year. Top requirement for our course is to designing the interior spaces and management of spaces. The highest package is 5 to 6 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: It's an architectural and design college so there is no issues in infrastructure as well canteen is their, free Wi-Fi, labs were also their, smart classrooms, lilavati famous library of Cept. It's a normal hostel enough to the student for living a student life. Good quality of food. Good medical facilities and sports is also their.

Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified and helpful and knowledgeable enough. Teaching quality is best and teachers are keen to answers our questions. This course curriculum is relevant because they trained the student as a professionals. Also there is a workshop for us to explore new ideas and we can execute after that.

Other: I like designing thing because design means to make life easy and better. I can't answer this question because thinks were improved every year after the feedback of students in the end semester.

The life at CEPT, the inside story.

Placements: Our department has recently started the placements and things like that. Most of the seniors either start their own business or join the place they would have interned at. I think, last year, 5-6 people got placed at the good firms. But there were a few firms that had actually come for the placement.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is great here, so is the library. We don't have an air-conditioner in the studios of our department, and hence, that's a negative. The new buildings, however, do have centralised A/C. Our college doesn't have its hostel. The hostel of the Ahmedabad Education Society is pathetic, and their quality needs to be taken up. We have the well-equipped labs and classrooms.

Faculty: While most of our faculty members are our alumni, they are well-known and accustomed to the methodology of the college. Hence, they have a better understanding of our ideologies and thought process. Our department has recently changed the curriculum for good, so we are all still adapting to it. It is a good decision taken though.

Other: Our campus is known for its Navratri, and that's about it actually. We have a yearly fest called ROOTS, which is when we get to attend workshops and have the other fun activities such as treasure hunt, debates, cultural night, etc. The campus is lively considering the fact that all studios are open 24x7 for us to work, stay, and sleep.

Amazing campus, library, and workshop.

Placements: There is one placement cell, that manages the placements. Faculty members who teach us often come from an industrial background, and are already working or have worked in the market. Many times, it is these faculty members from whom or through whom we can expect opportunities to work. Also, the internships that we do, might go on to become our workplace, considering we have done substantial and meaningful work.

Infrastructure: It is an animal-friendly college, and the campus has tons of trees which is amazing. Wi-Fi has been provided on campus. Lilavati Lalbhai library is top-notch, with amazing in-house and out-house productions. Canteens could sure do with certain updates. We will have to look out for the summers, they are a bit harsh, given we rarely use air-conditioning. A new set of hostels is being constructed and should begin functioning in the second half of 2025. The holder group of hostels and the mess are surrounded by neem trees as well, all-in-all a very comfortable stay.

Faculty: We have a vertical-level studio system. The third and second-year students study in level 2 studios likewise, the 4th and 5th year students study in the level 3 studios. Each semester comes with a set of pre-existing and newer studios, alongside 2-3 mandates. This allows us to expand and explore a lot, no matter the course specifications. The studio location process each semester needs to change, and should be worked upon. We give juries at the end of each semester explaining to the juniors our design process, and the final outcome.

Really good university for architecture and interior design.

Placements: The placement of CEPT University is very wonderful every season. The training and placement cell of our university is doing continuous and best work for increasing placements. Till now, the average of 80% students is placed every season. A company like Adani, JLL, PWC, EY, KPMG, Turner, Mascot, Mega, Simplex, etc. have visited our university campus.

Infrastructure: Our university infrastructure is best, and it is of very good quality. Campus area of our university is not much big and not also small. We have all the required facilities on our campus like Wi-Fi, designing labs, classrooms, library, medical facility, sports grounds, games, garden, auditorium, canteens, hostel, etc. And the quality of designing labs and classrooms is best in every term. The hostel rooms are also good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very good. My experience with faculty members is very good. They are helpful, qualified and have best and skilful knowledge. By their teaching method, we can easily learn the concepts, and by this, we can solve anything related to it. The student to faculty ratio is approximately 40:1. The course curriculum is very much useful to all of us.

Review of CEPT University.

Placements: More than 50% of placements got placed. Top recruiting companies are HCP, Prashant Parmar Architects, etc. Roles offered are of junior designer and junior product designer. Almost every student gained an internship in big companies, but it is up to a student where he or she might want to go.

Infrastructure: We have an amazing infrastructure in place based on its architecture. Amazing classrooms that are not typical school classrooms: we have studios where we play music nonstop on speakers, we have parties, and we have open discussions with faculty. Wi-Fi is available. The library is 4 floors. Medical services are provided, and the hostel mess is also okay.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified for sure. We have a transparent and family-like relationship with the faculty members. The course is updated based on student feedback. Student voice is heard: there are no exams in the 5-year course. It does make the students industry ready.

Other: This course helped me to study the technical field, the architectural field, and a bit of the urban development field. Usually it is allowed to study crossover subjects. It is the biggest positive thing. Campus is very happening; every day or the other, there are events and festivals happening, and it includes batch parties, normal parties, food, cultural events, sports events, music, games, etc.

A great platform to evolve with all great minds and graduate from the best. CEPT is a home.

Placements: The placements are great. Most of the students after graduation, go for Masters while some opt to take experience. The placements have been across the globe and of course with good packages. The five year courses train us so well and inculcate the real life situations.

Infrastructure: CEPT Campus has so much happenings round the year. It is evergreen with its exposed brick buildings and greenery all around. There are 4-5 food corners in the campus with a lot of variety. Studios are communicative and the essence of heights and architecture makes it stand out from other campus and buildings.

Faculty: The courses offered are 5 year programme which includes practical training, internships and thesis. The faculty members are mostly the visiting faculty members who practice what they are specialised in and teach the same, practically. It is very beneficial and helpful to have great faculty members and learn from. The ratio of student to faculty 8/10-1 and we do get one to one discussions.

Other: The ever so happening campus in the city which a great minds. The everyday celebration of extra curricular activities and events mark the beauty of CEPT.

CEPT University offers scholarships in two categories, i.e., Pre-Admission and Post Admission. The Pre Admission Scholarship (Means-based) will be given to selected students from among the eligible applications. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means-based) is to be availed by the students who meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates with family income less than INR 10 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship will continue to receive the scholarship for the full duration of the programme subject to maintaining the result as per the scholarship award letter. Pre-admission scholarships (Means-based) can be availed only by filling up the online scholarship form along with the admissions application form at the official website.

I have got 87 marks in NATA and 97.7 percent in my boards. Can I get B.Arch at CEPT University? Which other colleges can I get?

It's quite difficult to get B.Arch at CEPT UNIVERSITY .It have higher cut-off marks which is 120 and sometimes more.The basic cut-off for NATA is 70.

Jamia Milia Islamia well known institute It also accepts NATA scores.

Chandigarh University it also best option to explore.
