CEPT University MDes Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates, Fee, Selection Criteria

To apply for MDes at CEPT University the candidate need to meet the last educational qualifications. The points below mentioned the checklist of applications for MDes at the university:

• Submit the completed application form.
• Self-attested Degree certificates, and mark sheets for all semesters. Applicants receiving grades as GPA/CGPA need to send the document indicating the relationship of GPA/CGPA with percentage marks as per their university/ institute along with all the mark sheets. Applicants studying in the final semester need to submit all the mark sheets till the penultimate semester.
• Curriculum Vitae.
• References from two referees who know you well. (Online reference letters to be filled and sent directly by the referee)
• Statement of purpose with the word limit and details as specified in the application form.
• Academic and/ or Professional work experience certificates.
• Portfolio: Attach A4 size single PDF – Landscape, maximum 10 pages. (File size maximum 20MB and maximum 150dpi).
• Sponsorship Certificate and/or No Objection certificate from the last employer (Only for Sponsored Candidates)
• Proof of Employment (Only for Sponsored Candidates)

• Candidates with or without CEED Score can apply. In the absence of a CEED Score, the candidate will have to appear for FD PG Entrance Test.

CEPT University Admission Process

The university follows a set of guidelines for MDes admission at CEPT University. The admission process is mentioned in the points below:

Stage 1:

Eligibility Check and Shortlisted: An expert or panel will evaluate the programme to assess documents and portfolios to shortlist eligible candidates for the course. In this stage, the candidate’s document will be scrutinised.

Stage 2: The assessment process for this stage will be completely online. All shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview for the final decision on admissions. The merit list for the remaining seats will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in Stage 2.

CEPT University provides Financial Aid to students. The university has a comprehensive scheme for scholarships. It is the endeavour of the University that no student be denied the prospect to pursue their studies for want of sufficient financial resources. However, no financial aid or scholarship would be automatic and would be subject to norms and criteria laid down by the University. Pending sanction of financial aid/award of scholarship students are required to make payment of charges on the due dates. The university offers three types of scholarships such as:

• Pre-Admission Scholarship: Pre-Admission Scholarship (Means based) will be awarded to selected students from among the eligible applications. The Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based) is to help students who fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Eligibility:

Students who fall under family income less than INR 10 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship will continue to receive the scholarship for the full duration of the programme subject to maintaining the result as per the scholarship award letter.

• Post-Admission Scholarship: Scholarships and financial support are available to students during their course of study at CEPT post-admission. The Student Service Office provides academic, financial, medical, residential and other assistance services to all students of CEPT University, including International students, Exchange students and student interns.
• Government-Based Scholarship: The university offers MYSY Scholarship- Government of Gujarat, Pre-matric Scholarship Government of Gujarat, Tablet Distribution Government of Gujarat, and National Scholarship Government of Gujarat.
