If placements are your main concern, Chandigarh University (CU) definitely has an edge. One thing I personally liked about CU is how early they start preparing students for placements. Their Department of Career Planning & Development (DCPD) runs regularly trainin g sessions on aptitude, interviews, and soft skills, starting from the very first year.Big companies like Amazon, Deliotte, Microsoft and IBM do visit the campus, and students from different streams get chances to sit for tip recruiters. What also helps is that CU focuses a lot on real-world exposure—internships, live projects, and skill-based learning. The placement scene is quite active, and a good number of students from my batch got placed in reputed companies. Of course, getting placed depends on your efforts too, but the university provides strong support and good opportunities.

BTech course contains 8 semesters and each semester is of 6 months. Within a semester students have to give 3 internals and a external exam. And from those 3 internal exams best of two will be taken so if you misses in just one internal then it's fine as you can cover it in two other attempts. In case you misse two or three of them this will affect your accademic result (CGPA) may be you have to give the exam again which also said as backlog. And you have to clear it for siting in an interview.

In terms of pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), I would recommend considering Chitkara University as a strong option among Lovely Professional University (LPU), Chandigarh University, and Chitkara University. As a current student at Chitkara University, I can attest that it offers a favorable learning environment. Although Chitkara University also admits a significant number of students in the CSE branch, it has a comparatively lower intake than both LPU and Chandigarh University. When it comes to placements, Chitkara University has a commendable track record, provided that students put in appropriate hard work to secure the packages they deserve. In contrast, Chandigarh University combines its placement process with students from CGC Landra. Chitkara University continues to have a good reputation in the academic community. The university conducts exams on a regular basis to evaluate students' development. There are some drawbacks that must be considered, it's important to remember that. Chitkara University includes a number of restrictions, including a minimum attendance requirement and a mandatory uniform policy. In addition, GATE pass is a must, and the campus is smaller than the other two options. The university also focuses in sticking to the rules strictly. Ultimately, the choice among these universities depends on your individual interests and preferences. Since all three are private institutions, it is essential to work hard and strive towards achieving your dream career. Keep in mind that success ultimately depends on your own dedication and efforts. I hope this information helps you make an informed decision.
