Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.Hons.) - Batch of 2026
5.0
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
A nice, disciplined campus with strong academic and student life.
Placements: The campus environment is really good and well-maintained, and it gives a positive vibe. The academic environment is serious but very supportive, and to be honest, it can be really stressful, especially around CIA week. Around 65%-75% of students from my course got placed with really good packages. Some opted for higher studies and competitive exams instead of placements. The salary packages offered were really good, like the highest package being 8-10 LPA and the lowest 3 - 3.5 LPA, and I think the average was 4-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is actually good and well-developed. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors. The library is also big and has a nice collection of academic books, journals, newspapers, magazines, and a really good collection of digital resources for research. Though I haven't stayed in the hostel, from the experience of those who stayed there, the facilities provided are decent with regular maintenance. The mess food is average, like any hostel, but it comes with really good hygiene. The campus also has medical assistance, a really large space for extra-curricular activities, and sports facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified with great knowledge about the subjects and are really helpful. The quality of the lectures is also good, and our department has introduced LCA courses, which are more of student teaching students rather than teacher teaching students, which is good because it increases student participation. The curriculum is relevant to today's environment and includes projects, presentations, and internships that help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate for me and require consistent preparation. The pass percentage is 40%, and you can clear it with regular studies and attendance.
Other: I chose this course because it gives really good and strong conceptual knowledge, along with practical exposure and good opportunities. The best part of the course has to be its curriculum, the subjects which are relevant to the industries where we might work, internship opportunities, assignments, and presentations, which build confidence. There is always some event happening on campus, which keeps it lively all the time. Department fests, events, workshops, and guest lecturers are provided. The crowd here is very diverse and filled with positive vibes.

B.Com. in Finance and Investment - Batch of 2026
4.0
4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
A Good college for finance courses.
Placements: Being the first batch under the NEP, only 40–60 percent of the class opt for placements. Out of that, around 70–75 percent of students get placed successfully. The highest package is offered by DE Shaw and Millennium, around 22–24 LPA. The average is 6 LPA, and Deloitte and EY are the mass recruiters.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, most of the amenities are present in the university. Bloomberg Terminals are a nice addition and add value to the overall learning experience. Multiple canteens and medical facilities are also present. They renovated the sports areas in the past few months. The network connectivity is bad.
Faculty: The coursework is highly dependent on the competencies and teaching abilities of the teachers. The CIAs do make it a stressful experience, but they are bearable as you progress with the course. The scope for research within the finance domain is limited.

It is a good college for students who want to become the best employees.
Placements: Students get good placements based on the extra skills they have earned. The average package offered ranges from 2-10 LPA, or some students get more packages based on skills and certification. Many banking companies like JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs hire students. Here, students get placed based on their overall CGPA.
Infrastructure: Student Wi-Fi is available in classrooms for laptops, but they have jammers for mobile usage. Classrooms are big, but lights go off most of the time. The library is good, and now, they have 2 libraries. They look the best, and it is perfect to read over there. Overall, it is good and not bad.
Faculty: There are 3 CIAs, mid-semester and end-semester exams. The teaching quality is good and not bad. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40 percent of the overall 100 percent. Semester exams are tough.
Other: For Karnataka students, the fee is 1.5 lakhs, and for other state students, it is 1.7 lakhs. We get a scholarship of Rs. 20,000, which is good.

All about Christ University, Pune, Lavasa.
Placements: Placements are being offered here, companies like South Indian Bank, Deloitte, Apple, TCS and many more offer on-campus recruitment for the campus. For my course, the mass hiring is basically by Deloitte for the role of Taxation, Financial Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing, with many sports facilities like pickle ball, volleyball, cricket, and air hockey offered for us. Proper Wi-Fi facilities are available for all the students on the campus with proper credentials and IDs for accessing the Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: The faculty is also above average, and if I talk about the curriculum, it's the best. I love the other subjects that they teach us, like the subjects that are outside our course, and everything is well aligned with what is currently ongoing in the world. The difficulty of the exam is moderate.

Honestly, a brilliant atmosphere and a good college.
Placements: 80-85 percent students are placed, and there are two types of placement: one, if you complete the CIMA course, you can sit for differential placements where they take you for management accounting roles, else you can appear for the other roles similar to the B.Com students. Deloitte, EY, PWC, and JP Morgan case are the top recruiters, and for differential placements, HPE and BCG also come.
Infrastructure: The college has all facilities required to sustain in your college life, all the way from proper infrastructure to Wi-Fi and all amenities. Wi-Fi might not work as the number of students in campus is too large to accommodate, but the student Wi-Fi and library etc. work well for classwork and assignments.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and mindful to our concerns and are highly qualified, so classwork along with some self-preparation works wonders, and also the assignments and CIA's given help gain in-depth knowledge on matter. The exams are moderate level and can be cracked with proper self-study and learning lecture notes.
Other: The department provides a lot of opportunities to showcase our skills and grow on a professional stage. The seniors are helpful, and also the fests and events accommodate all sorts of expertise to try or grow our skills and also help in professional and leadership roles.

Amazing Infrastructure & Mess.
Placements: Around 40 to 53% easily get placed. The highest is 24LPA. Top companies are D. E Shaw, Millennium & Goldman Sachs. Campus internship is low 30% max. Top roles are Executive Board & Finance Analyst. Students can also get good off campus internships with the help of seniors, as they have a good network.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi for students. Almost every possible lab, even Bloomberg and NSE labs for real life trading classrooms, are modern with every possibility. The Main library is amazing. Multiple canteens, state of the art sports facilities, Multiple theatres, Computer labs, and AI ML labs.
Faculty: Faculty are usually very helpful and supportive. Teaching quality is also nice. The materials are quite outdated, not gonna lie. The semester is kind of difficult as its quite short in my opinion. Subjects are nicely curated to fit in the course and are matched with the needs and demands of the market.
Other: The course is in line with the recent advancements in technology. A more practical approach is necessary. Fests and events are just amazing, it also helps you to grow.
