Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University eligibility criteria vary depending on the course selected by the students. The basic requirements need students to pass Class 12 with relevant subjects for UG admission. Similarly, completing graduation in a relevant field is needed for PG admission. As per the latest brochure, the university does not accepts CUET score. Candidates are either selected based on their merit or accepted entrance-exam scores. CSJMU conducts a screening test for admission to some of the programmes such as BPharm, M.Ed, LLM, etc. Aspirants meeting the eligibility and selection requirements can apply for admission at CSJMU.
BSc admissions at CSJM University are merit-based. Hence, no entrance exam is required. The university shortlists candidates based on their merit in Class 12. They must also meet the basic eligibility criteria specified by the univeristy and present the necessary documents supporting their eligibility. Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification.
CSJMU provides good placement to its students. The overall highest and median package recorded during placement 2025 was 12.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA. 440 students were placed and 81 campus drives were held this year.
