CSJMU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University MBA courses are two-year courses that are offered in full-time mode only. MBA at CSJMU is offered in multiple specialisations by its School of Management aside from the general MBA course including Human Resource, Business Analytics, Finance and others.

The CSJMU MBA admissions are entrance based where the scores obtained in the CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ TANCET. Students with work experience will have an added advantage. In addiiton to this, candidates are also required to fulfill the MBA eligibility criteria for MBA admissions at CSJMU:

I like the management of Axis College.

Placements: If I talk about MBA placements, the ratio of placed students is good. A minimum of 30 to 40 students were in my previous batch. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, and many others recruit students from our course. If you are an average student, there's no chance to get a placement, but if you are good in your own stream, you will get a job.

Infrastructure: The college building is very good, with an open area, and the hostel facility is also good. The infrastructure of our college is the most appealing thing I found out when I visited this college for the first time. The library has a lot of knowledgeable books. The canteen serves a good variety of food. Medical facilities are available whenever needed. I don't know much about hostel life as I am not a part of it, but from hostel students, I get a few updates like the mess, living life, gym, etc., pretty well.

Faculty: Faculty in my branch is very helpful and very good. Some faculty members are too good to students and they treat very well. But, some faculty members impose fines on students for silly reasons. Swathi ma'am, the ET faculty, is very good and humble towards us. There are sessional exams and PUT exams in the college.

Placements: CSJM University is one of the best government universities in Uttar Pradesh. The university is known for its education and placements record. The average salary package offered to graduate ranges from 3-6 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed varies significantly, and around 90-95% of students get placed in on campus placements drive. The college placement cell helps students by conducting mock interviews, aptitude tests, etc., so that students can perform well in their placement drives and grab more opportunities.

Infrastructure: CSJM University is very big and has a good infrastructure including a library, sports facilities, and modern classrooms. The university has a central library with two floors and new editons of books. The university has a swimming pool, gymnasium, volleyball court, football, and cricket ground. Labs and classrooms are neat and clean. Rooms are large enough with good furniture. The college conduct many events so that students can enjoy their college life well. The college conducts many sports events so that students can participate in extracurricular activities.

Faculty: CSJM University is generally considered supportive and helpful, with a relevant course curriculum. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. Teachers are passionate and helpful in equal measure. Teaching quality is amazing. They clear all our doubts related to that particular subject. CSJM is a university so all the semester exams of all courses are conducted inside the campus. Every year there are two semester exams for all courses. Semesters exams are neither tough nor moderate. If we study well, then we can easily pass the semester exams.

Good for degree not equations.

Placements: This college is average for an MBA in Kanpur. Placements are average, with low-level companies coming to campus. The best course is BCA. I suggest that students come to this college with no expectations because it is more like a school than a college.

Infrastructure: Our college has a very small campus and no large areas. The campus does not provide hostels, and the canteen is very small and sometimes closed. Seasonal sports activities are available, and a medical room is also provided.

Faculty: The faculty are good, the teaching quality is good, and the teachers are friendly. They provide good knowledge and are reliable. Some teachers were most helpful during our placement time, and even helped us out of the way. My passing percentage was 70.

Placements: Almost 90% students get placements every year. The highest package here was 14 lakhs per annum, the lowest package was 3.6 lakhs per annum, and the average package here is 4.4 lakhs per annum. Internships are offered through college in companies like Bajaj Finance, TCS, HDFC, Lohia Starlinger, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms here are good, a computer lab is available, the library here is very good and big in size, and all the books related to the course are available here at the central library. Hostel facilities are also very good; food is very good at mess; and medical facilities are also available for all the students.

Faculty: Teachers here are very well experienced; every professor has a good and helpful nature. Most of the professors have experience of more than 15 years. The MBA program is relevant and it makes the students ready for the industry. Semester exams are offline at a good level. Passing percentage is 40%.

The campus is so neat and clean. You'll get good infrastructure.

Placements: Companies that visited were Concentrix, Justdial, Outlook, Axis Bank, etc. Approximately 10 students were selected altogether in the aforesaid companies. The placement department is not that active, which is the reason for such a low rate of employment and job opportunities not at all being attracted to the university.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are very neat and clean and well maintained, equipped with a TV, water cooler, and indoor games. Rooms are shared between two students. 12550 is a per-year fee, which is affordable. The mess system is average, and food quality is average. The registration process is very easy; you only have to fill out a hostel form but you can't get rooms so easily; you have to wait a lot. Hostel Fee: INR 12550 per year.

Faculty: The course syllabus was quite updated with the fundamentals in the first year and complex subjects in the subsequent year, which were according to our choices. Proper reports and assignments are to be submitted, which also carry an internal marking along with your behavior in class. Class size:-76 The course costs INR 75000 per year.

The placements were okay but could be improved.

Placements: After the end of the third semester, students become eligible and companies for placement arrive in the college. Byju's, Micro Sugar Engineering Solution Pvt. Ltd. arrived with placement offers. The placement was okay but not so good. I would however like to continue my studies further after getting the degree.

Infrastructure: The library was huge and have more than enough books. There were several clubs for coding and various sports activities. Seniors provided juniors with notes and previous year papers. Hostel food was okay but you can also buy tiffin from outside restaurants. Room was shared between three students.

Faculty: The course was good but the syllabus persisting in the college could not be found in the single book. We had many problems in covering the syllabus. Easy notes available in the market were affiliated with AKTU so we suffered a shortage of study material. However, you could make good terms with faculty members of the college who may help you in providing the study material. The faculty of the university were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with good guidance. Most of the faculty members held a Ph.D. degree while some had a master degree in the related subject.

Other: The admission process was not very complex. I gave the University entrance exam and scored the rank 07. Students with 1-100 ranks were called for counselling. The information was mentioned in the newspaper. We were required to submit the demand draft of the fee in the college during counselling.
