To be eligible for admission to MA at BAMU University, candidates must pass graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university. It is mandatory to meet the basic educational requirements of the course as the 50% weightage is given to past academic records in the final selection process.

For admission to MA at BAMU Aurangabad, candidates must apply online. Further, the following documents must be attested and submitted at the time of admission at the university:

• Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms (Voter Id /Aadhar card/ Driving License),
• SSC (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth,
• Mark sheet of SSC and HSC,
• All semesters Grade/Mark sheets of qualifying examination (Degree),
• Degree / Provisional certificate (if any) if degree is completed,
• Transfer Certificate (Original) of Degree,

• Caste Certificate and Validity Certificate (if applicable),
• Income Certificate of parent (s),
• Domicile Certificate,
• Non Creamy Layer Certificate (for NT-2, NT-3 and OBC candidates).
• Students who come under the jurisdiction of other University should submit Migration Certificate in original.

BAMU offers MA across 20+ specialisations. These are English, Economics, Geography, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sociology, etc. The selection to all these courses is done through a common selection process, which includes qualifying for CET, fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria and submitting the application form.

BAMU Aurangabad is a state university that was established in 1958 and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission) and  AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Being a state university, the fee is not very high. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the various scholarships offered by the university. Yes, BAMU is a good university as the university is ranked 83 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2022 under the University category. BAMU offers various facilities to students like a library, cafeteria, hostel, sports complex, and also provides various other facilities to undergraduate and postgraduate course students. To get admission to various courses offered by this university, the candidates must qualify the accepted entrance exams. The accepted entrance exams for MCA, NEET, JEE MCA, and others are JEE Main,  MHT CET, NEET, and others. For passing the JEE Main exam, candidates must attempt the JEE2 Main question papers, and hence prepare well for the entrance exams. 

There shall be supernumerary seats for following candidates as per the directions received from the Central government and State government and other competent authorities from time to time:

There shall be seat reservation for candidates belonging to the Home University, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria specified by respective authorities. This reservation shall be as per the following chart:
