B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Arvind Gavali College of Engineering
3.4
3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
It is the best college for students who got a low percentage in MHT CET, and now it is autonomous.
Placements: The lowest cut of MHT CET is 26% for our batch. The highest package offered in our package is 14 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Our college invites companies like Tata Cummins, and Neha Infosys. Roles like full-stack developer, backend developer, front-end developer, cyber security, and debuggers.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are quite good. Classrooms are very good, and all facilities are available in classrooms. The library is huge with a huge collection of books. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: No college can make students industry-ready. Every student has to do an extra course from other institutions and online platforms. Most of the students fail here because the university is cheap, and the result is not decreased for 8 months, even after the second semester has ended. The requirement to pass in the semester is 20 marks in externals and 20 marks in internals. Teaching staff members are supportive and motivated every time.
Other: As my percentage is low, and I got admission to college through the MHT CET CAP process, I joined this college. The surrounding area is very energetic with a clean environment. Our college conducts extracurricular activities for us.

Satisfied with the college environment.
Placements: About 50% students are placed in our college. Last year, 4 to 5 mechanical students got the 5 LPA above package, and CSE students also got the normal packages in college. Training and placement cell is so supportive and good. They conducted a sample interview round for students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough, and colleges have a big campus surrounded by trees and greenery. Give a positive and good vibe. The hostel and mess are also good, but not that good for students. They have Wi-Fi with a good internet connection. Labs are also average.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. Exams are conducted by the college itself because the college is autonomous. Courses and curriculum are also good, and the behaviour of the faculty is nice with students. The quality of teaching is good, and they also give sample questions for exam preparation.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2028

Applicability of Laws Theory in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Placements: I don't know about placement facilities provided by our college because the first batch of the college is still in its last year. And also, the average packages are from 3 Lacs, offered by the course, I have heard somewhere. Our college is most valuable for us for making skills and experience.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college or department are good. Also, they provide facilities like Wi-Fi, pharmaceutical laboratory, chemistry labs, and a good library. Hostel is available in our college, but I can't afford it because of their high fees. Hence, I live 6 km away from there. Also, they provide good quality sports and grounds.
Faculty: I am grateful to have wonderful teachers in our college. They provide the best knowledge with good experience of teaching quality. The B. Pharma course curriculum does make the students industry-ready. I haven't experienced the semester exam because I'm studying in the first semester, and I don't know about the passing percentage of the semester exam.
Other: I am interested in pharmaceutics and biology, hence I chose this college for pharmacy. I chose B. Pharma to study medicine and drugs. In my opinion, the canteen needs to be improved. And the classrooms. Events and festivals are celebrated very well in our college. The campus is very good, and I like it. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are good.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2026
Offered by Chhatrapati Shahu College of Engineering
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good choice for engineering with supportive faculty, decent placements, and strong infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students in the artificial intelligence and data science branch get placed every year, with many opting for higher studies as well. The highest package offered in recent batches is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA, the lowest being around 3 LPA, and the average package falls between 4 LPA to 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and some product-based startups in AI/ML and data science domains. About 60% of students also receive internship opportunities in companies like Persistent Systems, Bosch, and startups working in AI/ML, web development, and data analytics.
Infrastructure: College provides good infrastructure with facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs with updated software, smart classrooms, a large library, and project/research facilities specific to AI and data science. Labs have modern configurations that support coding, deep learning, and big data-related projects. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and study space. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is average but hygienic, with both veg and non-veg options available. Medical facilities, sports ground, and indoor game facilities are also present. The overall infrastructure is supportive of both academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members in the AI and data science branch are qualified, helpful, and approachable. Most of them hold postgraduate/PhD qualifications and have expertise in emerging fields like machine learning, deep learning, big data, and cloud. The curriculum is industry-relevant and regularly updated with subjects like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cloud computing, and programming. It includes both theory and hands-on lab sessions, making students industry-ready. Teaching quality is interactive with a mixture of lectures, practical, and project-based learning. Exams are moderately difficult, if concepts are clear, passing is not an issue. The pass percentage is usually above 85%.
Other: The course fee is reasonable compared to other engineering colleges offering AI and data science. The return on investment is good considering the placement opportunities and exposure provided. Choose artificial intelligence and data science because it is a future-oriented branch with growing demand across industries. The best part of this course is the exposure to trending technologies like AI, ML, data analytics, and cloud computing, along with real-time projects. I wish the college could further improve by inviting more product-based companies and providing international internship opportunities. Connectivity to the campus is good, and the environment is safe.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Shreeyash College of Engineering and Technology
1.8
2Placements3Infrastructure1Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
Disappointed with placements, teaching quality, and campus facilities.
Placements: Placements are below average for our batch. Only about 30-40% of students got placed, mostly in mass recruiting companies. The average package is around 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA, and the highest is 7 LPA for just a couple of students. Core companies rarely visit, and most roles offered are non-technical or support-based. Internships are mostly self-arranged, with minimal help from the college. The placement cell does not provide strong guidance or training, so students have to depend on external resources. Overall, the placement experience is disappointing and not up to expectations.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and needs improvement. Classrooms have basic amenities, but the labs are outdated and lack modern equipment. Wi-Fi is often slow and unreliable. Library has limited books and few updated materials. Hostel rooms are congested and not cleaned regularly. Mess food lacks variety, and hygiene is a concern. There are very limited medical facilities. There is no full-time doctor or proper clinic. Sports and recreation options are minimal, with very basic equipment. For the feel charge, the facilities fell short of what we expected. There is definitely scope for better maintenance and upgrades.
Faculty: Faculty members are not up to the mark. Most teachers lack proper communication skills and don't engage well with students. Many just read out slides without explaining concepts clearly. The curriculum feels outdated and not aligned with current industry needs. Practical exposure is minimal, and industry-relevant skills are hardly taught. Semester exams are not very difficult, but they do not reflect real learning. The pass percentage is high, but the actual knowledge gained is quite low. Overall, the academics feel more like a formality than true education.
Other: I chose this course hoping it would open good career opportunities. But the overall experience is disappointing. Campus life is dull, with very few events or extracurricular activities. The crowd is not very active or diverse, and connectivity to the city is also poor. There are occasional fests, but they lack energy and proper organisation. College needs to improve faculty quality, placement support, and student engagement. Scholarships are limited, and the overall environment does not feel encouraging. I wish I had researched more before joining.

The college is good but lacks proper facilities.
Placements: The college does not have placements, only 10-20 students get placed by the college. The average package provided is Rs 2,40,000 by the college. No internships are offered by the college. Top recruiter companies in the course are around this area. Top roles offered are pharmacist, MR, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but it doesn't contain good canteen and garden. The playground is not developed. Classrooms do not contain proper working projector. Labs are there but not designed properly and no cleaning is maintained. The food quality of the mess is low.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Some of them are very helpful and guide students very well. Teachers are helpful and qualified. They have proper knowledge. Students don't get industry-ready. Semester exams are carried out in the college in a serious way, and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: The fests and events of college are to be improved.
