Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bihar is a private university and is also known as CVRU. It is located in Bhagwanpur and was established in 2018 by the AISECT under the Bihar Private Universities Act, 2013. It is named after the first Nobel Laureate of the country, C.V. Raman and is one of the best private universities in India. Also, it is the 1st private university in the state of North Bihar to achieve excellence in education and research in multi disciplines. CVRU is recognised by the UGC.
