Study with nature in a calm place like Dr. Harisingh Gour University.
Placements: 80 to 90 percent of students get placed in the judiciary, corporate, and Litigation. The university is very well known for its law course because of its placement and environment. The highest package it got is 39 LPA in the corporate sector for one of our alumni. Thus, it is a very well known university for its placement in the judiciary. We have our alumni in various high courts of India, as well as in the Supreme Court of India.
Infrastructure: We have different classrooms for each B.A. LL.B. LL.B. L.M. course. There is also a separate library in our department only for law students, where you can find any books of your subject from 1st sem to 10th sem, plus there are also journals. There is also a moot court hall in our department.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, almost all of them having 10 to 15 + years of experience in the law. They are also very helpful if you want to participate in different competitions inside or outside the campus. The course curriculum is relevant as per the NLU syllabus. The semester exams are medium, and almost every student can clear them if they study well.
Other: This course has vast career options like judiciary, Litigation, corporate, UPSC, and teaching etc. There are various fest also organised by our department, like ethnic day, teachers day, moot court competition, and many more.

Faculty members are good. Value for money in law.
Placements: No students from my batch have been placed, and from the last five years’ record, no students from the Department of Law have been placed. Our course is judicial and academically oriented, not on a corporate basis. For internships, the students need to make their own efforts.
Infrastructure: The building for the department is very old, so parts of it are getting broken. The building is not good as it is totally based on old structures. Our Moot Court Hall and Law Library building are good, but there is no water cooler in the Law Library and Moot Court Hall. We have a Wi-Fi connection in the department as well as in the library. We have 6 to 7 classrooms and one computer lab, but it’s not in operation. We have a good hostel, but there is water scarcity, and the cleanliness in the washrooms is not good because they do not use phenyl.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Whenever we have any doubt, even at night, they clear our doubts. The majority of teachers are well qualified, but there are always some exceptions, so some are not good. The curriculum makes the students ready for judiciary exams and academics like NET/JRF.
Other: I chose law because I want to become a good lawyer and help society by getting justice for people at a lower cost in the High Court and Supreme Court. Some of my friends are preparing for CLAT PG, CS, Judiciary, NET, etc.

Affordable education, best faculty, good infrastructure, and a good environment.
Placements: In this course, B.A. LL.B. (Hons), around 90-95% of students are placed off campus. The majority of the students are targeting judiciary examinations. Recently, a university student of this course achieved AIR 3 in the MPCJS examination. Students get several opportunities for internships, such as in DLSA (District Legal Service Authority), NALSA, CBI, SEBI, advocates, prevalent law firms, paralegal services, etc. Almost every student does internships every semester in one or two of the above-mentioned institutions.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the University Department of Law are commendable. There is a moot court and a moot court committee for its operations. The law library has all the books related to the course and law. There is a central library, which is one of the biggest libraries of the state (Madhya Pradesh), where books are available for the benefit of the students. The classrooms use blackboard-style teaching.
Faculty: The teachers in this university are well-qualified, experienced, well-versed, and hold expertise in their field. They are helpful and friendly in nature. They help students in solving problems ranging from big to small ones. The syllabus is well designed for students to excel in the legal field. The level of difficulty of the semester is average. Almost 99% of the students manage to pass the semester examination without any improvement examination.
Other: I chose this course as it offers students a wider scope for choosing a career. Students can make their career in law as well as in civil services too. There are several events and extracurricular activities organized in the institution. It includes moot courts for practicing law, ethnic day celebration, debate competition, and Dr. Hari Singh Gour Memorial Day. It has established itself as a hill campus built in the beautiful district of Sagar, offering a serene environment to students for receiving education. It has the main market of the district within a proximity of 2 km.

Best and affordable for law students.
Placements: No placement in my college. But you can apply by yourself in firms and other corporate sectors. The law field already has lots of options, and our college will surely help. Many students from our college are doing good in firms and litigation as well.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is best for the law course. There is a moot court hall, a law library, a computer library, and classes. The hostel is also available for the students, both girls and boys. The location of the hostel is based on the basis of distance. There is a mess facility for both girls’ and boys’ hostels.
Faculty: When I talk about the faculty, they are the best in the law department. The course curriculum is relevant as well. The semester exams are not very difficult, but it is a little bit more difficult than school exams. The study and academic activity are very good.
Other: I chose this course because it is the best and affordable law course in central universities. There are always events, campus gatherings, and extracurricular activities happening.

There are no placements but good teaching faculty and infrastructure are provided.
Placements: There are 52 seats in B.A. LL.B. Many civil judges come to this university. There are no on-campus and off-campus placements. Internships are done personally and independently. There are no recruiting companies, but slowly students are putting efforts on their own for on-campus placements and inviting companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there. There is a moot court and a central library. It has all kinds of books. There is a department library in every department. Food in the girls' hostel is not good and limited. If you go a little bit late, no food is left for you. In the boys' hostel, there is no mess. One canteen is there. We have to pay the hospital fee. There is a stadium for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful. They are great. They teach you beyond the syllabus which makes us industry-ready. The curriculum is relevant to the law field. All subjects are covered. Semester exams are easy and all questions are from only the syllabus. The passing percentage is 27%.
Other: This university is known for civil judges as its alumni. Professors are knowledgeable. Betterment is needed in the number of teaching faculty. Extracurricular activities include NCC, NSS, sports, annual fests, events, etc. Scholarships are there based on merit and income.
