Review of GD Goenka University, Gurgaon.

Placements: The placements provided by the college are extremely good. The highest package offered is 4-5 Lacs per annum. The percentage of students who got placements is above 50%. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Dell, Fortis, Vedanta etc. The top roles offered are HR, manager, assistant manager, lab assistant etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, with AC rooms, Wi-Fi, well-maintained classrooms, well-maintained library with books of all courses, and well-equipped labs. The hostel is well maintained, with a good mess room, swimming pool, good medical and sports facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, and the sessions are interactive. Modern teaching techniques are used. The curriculum is relevant with respect to future industrial scope. Each semester has mid-semester and end-semester exams. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because I did my B.Sc. in microbiology and want to do Masters in the same. The future scope of microbiology is high compared to other courses. My course requires hands-on experience, and GDGU has lots of curricular activities to develop personality and soft skills. The college also provides scholarships for students who are financially weak. The college has its own fests and various intra and inter-college events.
