It's a good college for students, but it's not so good for core students.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. They are trying their level best to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult.

For studies it is quite good, I'm not satisfied with hostel, nor would you be.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The quality was good too. The curriculum needs to improve because it is putting unnecessary things into this and making things heavier which are not need for this course.

I am highly satisfied with this college faculty and their teaching method. The college is very good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very talented and helpful. Thet taught very easily which is understood by everyone in the classroom. The quality of teaching is good. The student to faculty ratio was approximately 50:1. I didn't get industry exposure. The course curriculum was very useful for students to score well in the examinations.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements and faculty.

Faculty: Faculty are the biggest problem in our college. The faculty members are not suitable for teaching. They come to classes and kill time by talking irrelevant things. They don't teach even for 30 minutes in the 1-hour class. They give notes, but students understand the topics.

A good platform for the students who seek career in mining field by gaining good knowledge.

Faculty: The backbone of mining branch in GIET was Late KSN Murthy. He helped the students a lot, to get industry visits and exposed our college in the Mining Industry, which brought us many acceptances for the industrial visits. This year, the faculty are very good and are well qualified. They are well-knowledgeable. They are graduated from IITs and NITs.

There is a shortage of faculty in the mining department.

Faculty: The college offers many courses. The faculty members of the mining department are not up to the mark when compared with other branches. In the mining department, each faculty deals two to three subjects. There is a shortage of faculty in the mining department, and the faculty are qualified with just B.Tech.

The infrastructure is good, and the college is developing day by day.

Faculty: GIET selects faculty members who are very knowledgeable, so all the branches have knowledgeable faculty. The faculty members in our college are from IITs. Their teaching is very good, and all the faculty members are helpful to students in all aspects. Overall, their teaching is good.

Dissatisfied because of placements, facilities and laboratories.

Faculty: The faculty are good knowledge persons, but they will not show interest in teaching. This is the only autonomous college in Andhra Pradesh for mining engineering. The college does not take the permission for training and they just give letters to us remaining effort should be taken by students. We know that it is not easy to take permission for training in mines. It will be better if the college takes efforts on practical training in mines.

Our college development is good and had good infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty members are good. We have knowledgeable professors and assistant professors. The teaching quality is good. Slip test, practical exam, and also conduct the seminar and those are the methods used for teaching. The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:25. The course curriculum is useful for us.

I am very disappointed by choosing this branch at this college. Placements were not good.

Faculty: Some faculty members in our college were helpful, but some were against students. Some faculty members attend the classes and waste the maximum time, and they try to do time pass in the classroom. They discuss matters other than the subject, and their teaching quality was bad. If we ask any doubt, they try to escape. The course curriculum was relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready.

Good quality of teachings, absolutely dissatisfied with hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable and the teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is too heavy that they merge too much content in one semester, only in this way they need to think that students can't think or understand that much syllabus.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good in our branch. They are highly knowledgeable, and there are assistant professors in our branch. Every week, they conduct slip tests and practical exams. They all help students in all aspects. Overall, their teaching is good.
