The college has amazing management. There are placement issues for BCA.

Placements: Around 60 percent of students get placed, and the remaining students opt for MCA or higher studies. The highest package offered is 8 LPA from BCA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The average package offered is around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. There are not many internship opportunities on campus. The top roles offered are senior software developer, etc.

Infrastructure: Graphic Era Deemed to be University has great facilities of labs and the library. Computers in the lab are in very good condition. There are many labs for practice and a huge library in different blocks. Classrooms are amazing. It provides a smart board in each class. The hostel is a little costly but gives amazing infrastructure and services. The food is pretty good. It has space for both indoor and outdoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and friendly towards us. They are highly educated. Almost every teacher has a doctor's degree. They teach very well enough for semester exams. The course curriculum is relevant to industry nowadays, and this course definitely makes students job-ready. Our college exams are of a moderate level, not too tough and not very easy. The pass percentage is around 70-80 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the tech field. The best thing about the course is that it makes us job-ready. I wish there were more good placement opportunities for BCA students, too, because B.Tech students have greater opportunities than BCA students. Events and fests are well organised by the management. The crowd management is very good and the crowd is also good. The campus surroundings are great because of the weather and environment of Dehradun. It conducts many sports activities.

Satisfied with faculty, infrastructure, etc, but not satisfied with placement opportunities.

Placements: Here at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, on-campus placement is decent, not very good for BCA students, but amazing for B.Tech students. However, if you have good skills, you can get placed in a good company after college. In my batch, there are 10 sections, with 75 students in each section. The highest package for BCA is 8 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, etc. Very few students get internships through college, but can apply off-campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Classes are amazing, and every class has a smart board installed in it. There are many labs inside the campus, which provide better exposure to the practical aspects of the course. There are also many libraries available. The hostel is good, the food is also good and hygienic, and the hostels are disciplined and have high security.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful during the course. They even solve doubts after work hours on call or WhatsApp and support students with research. The course curriculum is relevant to modern technology. After completing the course, students are job-ready. The semester exams are of mid-level difficulty not too tough, not too easy with an 80-90% passing percentage.

Other: I chose this course because I want to explore the teaching field more. The best thing about the course is that they teach coding, which is very demanding in today's generation. One thing that can be improved is placement opportunities. The crowd here is also decent. There are not many unwanted events.

Disappointed with the placements at this college. It is overhyped and not up to the mark.

Placements: Around 50–60 students in total get placed out of 650 students in our batch, which is 2022–2025. The highest package is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Most recruiting companies are service-based and take students for service-based roles. Overall, placements are really bad.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Libraries have AC, but there is no AC in classrooms. Sometimes, the fans do not work properly in the classroom. There is Wi-Fi on campus with a limit of 1.5 GB. The hostels' infrastructure is good and very comfortable to live in, but they are expensive, and the food is bad, not worth it at all.

Faculty: Teachers of core subjects like DSA and WebDev are good. They help us with all our doubts and teach very well in class. However, most teachers aren’t as good, especially those of important subjects like software development, who teach via traditional methods like using PPTs, making their classes boring. The curriculum is very outdated, and the exams are easy enough to pass even if you study only the night before.

Other: I chose BCA because I have Biology in my +2 and didn’t get a seat in an MBBS college. I want to pursue Computer Science, and my reason for choosing this college is its location and direct admission. GEU offers a very balanced environment to study. It doesn’t provide very good placements, but it has many extracurricular activities happening on campus all the time. Some teachers are really good while some are bad. I also receive a 10% scholarship from GEU because of my 12th-grade results.

Satisfied with my college.

Placements: I am a student of BCA at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, currently in the 3rd semester. My passing out batch will be 2027. Placement criteria of this college is good. If we give rate out of 5 that would be 4.5. The highest package of my course is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. The quality of hostel is good for the students, and the quality of food is also good. They provide different menu everyday for the students. The facilities for sports and medical in my thinking this college is the best.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good at making concepts understandable, and they give real-life examples. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are moderate, and the pass percentage is 20 out of 50.

The college has good placements, infrastructure, but average faculty.

Placements: I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and one of the major highlights of my course is the placement opportunities that the college provides. The placement record here is consistently good and students from different academic backgrounds get the chance to sit for interviews with reputed organizations. What makes it more encouraging is that the placement process is not limited to only the top ranking students. Even average students with the right preparation and guidance are able to secure good jobs through campus placements. This shows that the institution focuses not only on academics but also on placements.

Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel but the infrastructure is good. I have heard from friends the hostels are decent with all time Wi-Fi and water coolers running 24 hours. The classrooms are more than good. The hostel is good, the mess food is decent, the canteen has variety, plus we have medical help, and sports and games facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are okay, but you have to study by yourself. They are qualified, but the teaching quality is average, and some are really helpful. The BCA curriculum is mostly relevant and industry-oriented. Semester exams are not very tough if you study regularly, and the pass percentage is quite high.

Other: If you can do hard work, you can easily get a job.

My college have great placement drive in this year.

Placements: 50% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 8.5 LPA and the lowest package is 5.6 LPA. Infosys and Coding Ninja are recruiting companies. 75% of students got internships from my course. Frontend is the most important role offered in my course. Students have to score at least 65% to sit in the placement drive.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, digital board, library, lab, and all facilities are available. Hostel cleaning is done. The quality of mess food is very good, water cooler is available, and it is cleaned daily. Sports equipment is available. The hostel faculty is good and the environment of the hostel is very friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in solving doubts and they explain topics briefly. The course has career-based subjects like this, management, math, DSA, etc. Exams are not difficult, and it's easy to pass an exam at this university. You just have to focus on your studies.

Other: I chose this course because I didn't have a good percentage in 12th. I scored only 65%. There is a big fest in my college known as Grafest.
