My experience as a BCA student at DIT University.
Placements: Nearly 72-75 percent of BCA students got internships through college or personal efforts. Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Teach Mahindra, Deloitte, etc. Hire the students. The major roles of BCA graduates were software developers, web developers, system analysts, technical support engineers, database administrators, and IT consultants.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. Computer labs are modern and well-equipped. Classrooms are clean and have smart boards. Library is big, peaceful, and has digital resources. There is a good environment for studying and projects. Hostels are clean and safe with Wi-Fi. Rooms available in single, double, and triple sharing. There is 24/7 security and warden support.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, and well-qualified. Most faculty members have good knowledge and teaching experience. They explain topics clearly and give real-life examples. Overall the teaching qualities are good and student-focused. The BCA curriculum is updated and includes modern subjects like Python, AI web development, and cloud computing.
Other: I chose BCA because I am interested in computers and coding. The course helps build a strong base for IT jobs and higher studies like MCA or MBA. It provides both theoretical knowledge and practical skills useful in the technical field.

Good learning environment with helpful faculty, modern infrastructure, and strong placement support.
Placements: I am from the BCA Bachelor of Computer Application course at DIT University, Dehradun. The course focuses on programming database software development, and computer fundamentals. Around 82-85 percent of students from the BCA course got placed. Placement opportunities depend on student performance in coding and communication.
Infrastructure: The BCA department has well-equipped computer labs with high-speed internet and modern systems. Every lab has updated software tools for programming, database, and web development. Classrooms are special smart classrooms with projectors and digital boards.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and experienced in computer science and IT. Most faculty members are helpful and approachable and they clear doubts both during and after class. Teaching style is interactive with practical examples and project-based learning.
Other: I chose BCA because I am interested in computer coding and technology. It is a great course for building a career in software development, IT, or data-related fields. The course provides both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice.

Good college with strong faculty members and decent placement. Overall, a great experience.
Placements: In my senior batch, 70-90% of students got placed from the course. Top recruiters included TCS and Wipro. The average package is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The highest package goes up to 20 LPA. Some people are also doing internships during their college time to get the best package.
Infrastructure: I am not a hosteler student and do not know much about this. But I know that the infrastructure is good. My friend is telling that the mess food is also very good. Wi-Fi is also available 24X7. The library is also mentioned, and a good collection of books in the library.
Faculty: Faculty members are well. Most teachers clear the doubt 2 times. They also have a good nature. They conduct lab session, seminar, mini project, and final year project that help to build knowledge. It increases the level of experience, and some topics will include recent industry trends like data science and AI&ML.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the subject and good reputation of the department in terms of faculty members. The best part about the course is the balance between theory and practical part.

Placements: Around 95% of students got placed in 2022, with the School of Computing having a 96% placement rate. The highest salary package offered is 67.62 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 5.5 LPA-6.2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Axis Bank, and IBM.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are modern with smartboard projectors and good Wi-Fi. Labs are well-maintained with up-to-date equipment for practical learning. Library has large collections of books and online resources. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus for students and staff.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced. They are helpful and support students learning. Few teachers may be average but most are good at teaching. Semester exams can be tough but can be managed if we study regularly. Pass percentage varies by course.
Other: Medical facilities on campus are available and we also have a hospital near by. Events are held in the auditorium, and there is a cafeteria offering clean food options. College includes a gym and outdoor sports facilities for students.

Infrastructure: Our college has separate hostels for boys and girls available, offering spacious, well-furnished rooms with study tables and good lighting and ventilation. Faculty: University has experienced teachers who are experts in their fields. Classes include a mix of traditional lectures and interactive learning with projects and hands-on activities. Faculty members aim to make learning engaging and help students develop skills.
