M.Pharma. in Pharmaceutical Analysis - Batch of 2027
Offered by ISF College of Pharmacy
3.0
Good college, but this is very far from states like Assam, West Bengal, and Odisha.
Placements: Placements are average. Mostly, analysis students get jobs in different QA, QC or analytical R&D sectors. Reventh Pharma, Mankind, Mcure, overseas, etc., visited our campus. Mostly, they offer between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000 per month. Many students were offered a 6-month internship at Mankind.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is not working without a proxy. Labs are good, spacious and have all the apparatus used in industry. M.Pharm classes are air-conditioned. The library is good. There are two boys' hostels and a girls' hostel inside the campus. Canteen food is boring. There is a gym present.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. They have all done their Master's and PhDs. They clear our doubts through discussions. The course curriculum is good, it makes us ready to explore a new world. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessionals, which are conducted by the college.

B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering and Technology
3.6
Why choose SVIET over other private Colleges in Jalandhar?
Placements: SVIET has a 70-80% placement rate every year. 30-40% of students got internships in companies like TCS and NIT from the CSE field. In recent placements, the lowest package offered is 3.6 LPA. The highest package offered is 54 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 8-9 LPA. IT recruiters like Accenture, Deloitte, TCS, Capgemini, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Wipro, Microsoft, and other startups hire students. CSE students achieved top roles like system engineer, senior developer, data architect, SOC analyst, cloud computing expert, and a consultant in the above-mentioned companies. To get an internship might be difficult, but college guarantees placements with the maximum package that ranges from 60-70 LPA if students are well-skilled.
Infrastructure: A lot of facilities are provided on campus, like Wi-Fi, transportation, advanced and sufficient computer systems in labs, seminar halls with a projector, a large lecture hall with 80 students' capacity, and a separate e-library for the CSE department with well-stocked journals, books, and research papers. Academic buildings and hostel buildings are fully furnished. The maintenance will be taken care of every year. The hostel room provides a shared room with a single bed, table, chair, and a cupboard with CCTV surveillance. There is one canteen and a small cafe with proper hygiene. In the hostel, the mess food is quite decent in taste, and hygiene might be compromised.
Faculty: We might experience compromises in faculty members and academics, since internal marks are in their hands. We need to behave well with all faculty members. They are very strict, old and experienced in teaching. Academic curriculum like organizational behaviour, economics, and business management are not useful, but core subjects are included, which are must-needed for our placements like DBMS, CAN, OS, Computer architecture, DSA, OOPs, etc.
Other: To get admission in this private college, students must have 50% in PCM in 12th, and other reservations are applicable on income and caste basis, and also through JEE. There is no such space for a playground or organisation of any event or fests. The campus life is not enjoyable. The institute has its own scholarship programme on the CGPA basis for each branch. Students can also get government scholarships. The CSE branch has a capacity of 60 students. For TFW, the fee is very low, like 40% of the original fees. Tech and cultural fests are organised every year. From my personal experience, I advise students to join this college and do DSA, LeetCode, and crack into Microsoft with the highest package.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2024
Offered by Sri Sukhmani Institute of Engineering and Technology
2.8
Drastic 4 Year Experience At Sri Sukhmani Institute of Engineering & Technology (Wasted).
Placements: Out of 30 students, 20 got placed in my stream. The highest salary offered is 5.3 LPA and the lowest one is 2.1 LPA, and the average is around Rs. 80,000, which was very bad. Top recruiting companies were HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Infosys, and many more. The top roles offered to students were design engineer, quality control engineer, broadcast engineer, and some also joined as electrical engineers in the state government. 40% of students got internships, and out of them, 2 got abroad internships. The placement cell assisted them to get visas easily. Most students got internships from TCS and L&T.
Infrastructure: Since it's a private aided institute, infrastructure is maintained like heaven. The entire 75-acre campus has internet connectivity, classrooms are designed with a step-up sitting arrangement, labs are well-equipped with advanced electrical machines, and the library has access to more than 4k books along with online journals available in the e-library. Air conditioning is installed in all classrooms, labs, and hostels inside the campus. Hostel food is not so good, not even decent; the menu is very boring. For sports, multiple playgrounds are available with night accessibility, and for indoor games like chess and other activities like guitar playing, there are spacious rooms available.
Faculty: I would say teachers are not so knowledgeable; sometimes they get confused themselves, and the teaching quality is very bad, so we have to depend on YouTube. The Training & Placement (T&P) cell assists students in mock interviews, GD projects, and also arranges workshops and industrial visits twice in an academic year. Semester exams are quite easy to secure average grades. Subjects like Analog Electronics, Electrical Circuit Analysis, and Electrical Machines are core teachings provided by faculty, which makes students industry-ready with some extra knowledge like business management and behavioral subjects. The one thing I liked was the compulsory internship in every semester to explore new ways.
Other: My opinion is not to choose this institute because the semester fees are 46k and hostel charges are around 55k per semester, but after 4 years you will not get the expected package. I wish the T&P cell would work more to drive placement sessions more smoothly with more companies and make internships available for all students. Not many fests are organized on the campus; events like singing and beatboxing are arranged once a year, and there is good connectivity to the city through the institute bus. For SC/ST students, there is a fee concession of 60%, and no such scholarships are provided by the institute itself.

The beauty of Chandigarh Engineering College.
Placements: The facilities and infrastructure of the mechanical department are better than I expected and better than those of the other private colleges. The Wi-FI speed has increased recently. The classrooms are A/C connected. The CAD Labs are very neat, as are the other labs. The library has many good books and research papers. The quality of hostel food is not so bad. I do not know much about it, but my hostel friends are satisfied with it. Medical facilities are provided, and the grounds are big.

It has good placements, decent faculty, average infrastructure, and an improving campus experience.
Placements: Around 80-90 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered is 20 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is TCS, which is a BPO company. Top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and system engineer.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs with an updated system, high-speed Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities, a mess, and canteen food. Wardens are humble with students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well -qualified, and knowledgeable, with decent teaching quality and practical support. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is around 85-90 percent.
Other: I belong to the 2026 passing batch of the B.Tech CSE course. I chose this course due to my interest in technology and better career opportunities in the IT sector. The best thing is strong placement opportunities, and exposure is good.

Best college for low-budget students.
Placements: Since I completed my degree from this college in 2025, this college has not provided any placement to our batch. Even if the students score above 8 CGPA this college doesn't provide direct placement to B.Com students. No internship is provided to our B.Com batch.
Infrastructure: This college provides a good infrastructure, Wi-Fi classrooms, and campus Labs are good it has other facilities as well, such as Wi-Fi, etc. The quality of infrastructure is average. The hostel is also good. The quality of food available in the mess is good. This college conducts sports events every year.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but the quality of teaching they provide is average. The course curriculum and objectives designed by the PTU University do not develop extra technical or industry-ready skills for students. Semester exams are moderate not too difficult hence the passing percentage is 75 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to learn more about commerce. The best thing about this course is that it enhances your accounting, finance and management knowledge. The course needs to be updated by incorporating more technical and industry-ready skills. Events and fests are average. The campus is less crowded but it has diversity. The campus provides good scholarships to students.
