Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons.) - Batch of 2023
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
I love faculty, but was unsure about the campus.
Placements: For my course, B.A. (Hons) in Psychology, the top firms that offered internships include RHL Hospital, ManoMatrix, etc. Normally, there were not very bright prospects for paid jobs after just graduation, but that was usually the case after every graduation course.
Infrastructure: The college had ample facilities in the psychology department, with fully equipped labs, proper infrastructure, and commendable faculty. The canteen had a variety of options at relatively affordable prices. Other than that, there was also an Amul parlor, which offered milk and milk products at good pricing.
Faculty: The Psychology Department boasted a good faculty and experienced mentors. The course curriculum was relevant to the discipline and helped students gain a general understanding of various sub-subjects in Psychology. The examinations were held four times a year (two per semester). Each semester had a CA component of 30% and a Semester-End component of 70%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Psychology as a subject. The course was good in itself. The college had an annual fest called Cosmos, which was a fun 2–3 day event. The crowd at IIS was vibrant, friendly, and helpful. The campus may not have been very extraordinary, but the comfort offered by teachers and peers made up for it.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2027
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It has good infrastructure, excellent faculty, and promising placements.
Placements: The first batch of our course B.Sc. (Hons.) in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence got passed this year even though it is newly launched, the course attracted interest from emerging teach recruiters and data-centric companies. Around 60-70% of the batch students got placed through campus support and self-initiated efforts. The college organises a placement fair. The placement cell regularly informs about placements and internship opportunities to students. Roles provided in our course are data analyst, data engineering trainee, product manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The university offers smart classrooms and well-equipped computer labs with all essential software. The library has a varied and good collection of books and also gives access to E-library. Basic medical care is available on campus. The campus also provides various sports options and has a gym too. Hostel rooms are clean and decent. The food is good and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. Teaching is clear, practical, and interactive. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, covering tools like Python, R, and AI ML concepts, making students job-ready. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable. The pass percentage is generally high.

B.Sc. in Jewellery Design and Technology - Batch of 2026

Dissatisfied with infrastructure and social campus life but satisfied with faculty.
Placements: Initially, the college doesn't offer on-campus placements for our course, and I'm not very aware of the situation for others. However, we do have seniors who are head designers at their companies. Since our course is not very popular, the skills you gain can really help you reach new heights on your own.
Infrastructure: The campus is pretty small, with one lawn and one stage connected to it. There isn't an auditorium, just a couple of small halls that somewhat serve that purpose. The infrastructure is just fine—not too bad, but not particularly good either. The food is okay, with two canteens that serve decent meals.
Faculty: One of the highlights of the course is the teachers. They are very knowledgeable and supportive, helping us develop various skills. I believe jewelry design is a future-proof course, as it is likely to become an important profession in the coming years.
Other: If you’re looking for a vibrant, eventful campus life, this college may not meet your expectations. Events are typically held in the daytime, never in the evening or at night. It's an all-girls college, and due to the small campus, most students know each other. On a positive note, there are active committees, like the theatre group and Rotaract.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2021
4.2

My honest review of this university.
Placements: The college doesn't provide internships. Students do internships on their own in their choice of company. However, the college does send students some links where one can apply for internships, but no direct help is given by the college. The stipend offered by the company is Rs. 4,000 per month. The placement and job opportunities are very limited in the college, and only toppers are placed in companies with a very less starting package of around 2.5 LPA. Companies that come to our college are Dhanlaxmi Bank, Annapurna Finance, etc. The college scenario in the case of job opportunities is bad.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility of the university is good. All the rooms have ducting facility, separate living baths, RO water facility, and water theater facility. There are mainly breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner. The quality of food is very good compared to others.
Faculty: Faculty members of the university are qualified and disciplined. Our university is also known for discipline. Most of the faculty members are from IITs and NITs. The teaching techniques are way better than other colleges, as per my friend's reviews. In every semester, the HOD tests students to see if the faculty members are good or not, or if there is any need for placements. So the academics of the campus are way better than others. The course curriculum is good, updated, and followed point by point. For me, the course is really interesting and easy to learn. Each subject consists of topics that are of utmost importance for students. So, a good amount of time has been given on every subject. Right now, no electives are there in the semester. Maybe it will be in the next semester.

Infrastructure and all other amenities are of decent quality.
Placements: Roles offered in our batch were research associate, lab technician, quality control analyst, and microbiologist. The companies that came for recruitment were research labs, pharmaceutical companies, and diagnostic centers. The average package offered was 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department was good, and they tried to provide a good learning atmosphere with maintained labs. There was a well-stocked library. There were spacious and lighted classrooms. The rooms in the hostel were quite comfortable. There were also common rooms that acted as a recreational place.
Faculty: The curriculum was good and covered both the core theoretical concepts along with a good amount of practical exposure, including projects. Semester exams were moderate level in terms of difficult. Teachers were very good and helpful. The teaching quality was also good.

Education and placements both are decent.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were good, with clean rooms and basic amenities. The mess food was decent and hygienic. Medical facilities were available on campus. Wi-Fi connectivity was present, and the classrooms were also big. There was a central library, and it had a good collection of Physics journals.
Faculty: Semester exams were moderately difficult and required a good understanding and study of each subject, especially for practical exams. The curriculum was relevant. It covered core physics topics and provided specialisation options as well. Teachers were highly qualified, and teaching quality was appreciated.
