With a 60 percentile in JEE Main, admission to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Indore for a B.Tech programme is highly unlikely. IIST typically requires much higher JEE Advanced ranks for its B.Tech programs, as it is a premier institute focused on space and aerospace engineering, with stringent admission criteria. If you're referring to other institutions with similar acronyms, such as Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST), admission might be possible with a 60 percentile, depending on the programme and seat availability. Many private colleges and state-level institutions consider JEE Main percentile along with other factors like management quota or additional entrance exams.

Class 12 marks alone are not sufficient for admission to the M.Tech programs at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). Admission to IIST's M.Tech courses is primarily based on a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria, including a minimum percentage or CGPA in their undergraduate degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in a relevant field. While Class 12 marks are important for earlier academic qualifications, they do not play a direct role in the M.Tech admission process. Candidates should focus on securing a strong GATE score and meeting other specific requirements set by IIST for the desired specialization. Additionally, shortlisted candidates may need to go through an interview or counseling process as part of the selection procedure.

No, usually GATE scores are required by IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) to get into the M.Tech Aerospace program, though this might vary according to some criteria set by the institute. Sometimes, candidates who have passed a B.Tech in an appropriate branch with good grades are taken on direct interviews or through other selection processes, but that happens rarely. One must frequently check the IIST website or the admissions office for information about the current requirements and any exceptions to those requirements.
