50% marks in English subject in 10+2 examination.
Age Limit:

For Female: General-27 years, OBC(NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years.
Physical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit and must meet the physical standards as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000, as amended from time-to-time.

IMU Kochi only accepts a valid IMU CET rank for admission to the MBA course. Moreover, the institute offers two specialisations in the MBA course, namely, International Transportation and Logistics, and Port & Shipping Management. The admission process for both courses is the same. Before applying for the entrance exam, candidates are required to ensure that to apply for the course, candidates must complete their graduation with at least an aggregate of 50%. There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks. Note: All candidates who qualify for this course will have to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

No, CUET UG scores are not compulsory to get admission into the BBA course at IMU Kochi. The campus accepts scores of Class 12 for admission. As per the scores candidates achieved in Class 12, the college releases the merit of shortlisted candidates. Thus, candidates can get admission to the BBA course at IMU Kochi with decent scores in Class 12. Hence, only Class 12 exams are mandatory.

No, CAT is not compulsory for admission to the MBA course at IMU Kochi. Candidates with scores in IMU CET/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT can get admission to MBA programmes. Therefore, CAT is one of the accepted entrance exams for admission to the MBA course. However, it is not compulsory. Moreover, IMU Kochi gives more preference to students who have achieved valid scores in IMU CET rather than CAT, MAT, and CMAT.

In this Kochi campus, candidates who qualify for IMU CET can register themselves for the counselling process after the release of the IMU CET list. The application form usually starts in the month of April/ May every academic year. For the academic batch of 2025, the last date to fill out the IMU CET application form was 2 May 2025.
