Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya (IKSVV) offers degree and diploma courses to candidates at UG, PG, and PhD levels. Courses offered are mainly in the stream of Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing). However, it may be noted that the university also offers courses in subject areas such as Design, Travel, and Museology & History of Indian Arts.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses

Candidates are eligible for UG course admissions at IKSVV if they possess Class XII certificate or equivalent in relevant subjects. Candidates are eligible for PG course admissions at IKSVV if they have cleared their graduation from a recognised university in relevant subject areas.

Note: Aspirants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by IKSVV for the course in which they wish to secure admission.

Admission Process for All Courses

Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya provides admission to candidates in UG and PG courses offered by it on the basis of their performance in the aptitude test conducted by the university. The official website informs that based on candidate\\\'s performances in their concerned subjects, a merit list will be prepared and recommendations will be made regarding admissions.

Application Process for All Courses

Candidates can apply at IKSVV in the offline mode. For the same, candidates can download IKSVV application form from the official website of the university. Candidates can also obtain the form from the university office.

The duly-filled application form with all necessary documents (as prescribed by the varsity) should be submitted at the university teaching department before last date stipulated by the varsity.

Candidates can pay IKSVV application fee also in the offline mode via cash or demand draft (DD) issued in favour of the Registrar, I K S Vishwavidyalaya payable at Khairagarh.

Application fee: Rs 650

Admission Cycle for UG & PG Courses

IKSVV admission dates have not been announced yet. Complete admission schedule will be notified as soon as the dates are declared.

International Student Admissions

IKSVV has reserved 10% seats for foreign/ NRI candidates in courses offered by it. The official website informs, “ICCR scholarship holder candidate will be exempted from the university aptitude test for admission.”

Application Form for Foreign Students

IKSVV application process for foreign/ NRI candidates is same as for Indian candidates (already mentioned above).

Application fee: Rs 1,300

List of documents that candidates need to enclose with the application form are:

Attested photocopies of mark-sheets and certificates of qualifying exams.

Proof of date of birth

Attested photocopy of character certificate from the last attended institution or competent authority.

An affidavit from a competent authority (if there is gap(s) between candidates’ two sessions)

Applicant seeking admission under reserved category must submit a latest certificate from the competent authority in support of their claim.

Original copy of transfer certificate to be submitted at the time of admission.

Migration certificate (on the recommendation from the head of the department, a period of one month will be given to submit the document).

Very humble and supportive teaching staff Discipline in the university campus and in the classroom

Placements: Seventy percent of students were placed in the course I am studying. The package is 7.2 LPA to 9.6LPA. JNV, KV, and other government institutions recruited the students who graduated from our university and are settled in very good positions. Some of them are great artists too.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, and the library are all in very good condition. Hostels and classrooms are in very hygienic condition, which is very important. The teaching staff and senior students are also very humble and supportive. Anti-ragging campaigns are very effective in our university.

Faculty: Teachers are so supportive, and they are always ready to help and motivate the students. They play a very important role in building the future of the students. The things they teach in class are so effective and very important for us, both for theory and for practical use.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in singing .

I am satisfied with education, and placements are also good.

Placements: Placements are dependent on students' will and performance. In our course, 70% of the students got good placements as a music teacher, instrument teacher, or player in a band. Our teachers regularly send us to perform somewhere. The highest salary package offered is 2-3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 60,000-70,000 per annum in starting. The top role offered in our course was as a vocalist for an album.

Infrastructure: It is just a franchised college, and the main branch is in Chhattisgarh. There is no such hostel facility, but you can stay in a PG. I live in Delhi with my family, so I didn't opt for any hostel or PG, and I persuade as a day scholar. The quality of education they provide is more than enough at the lowest price.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They can help you at any time you want. It is a franchised college, so very few people knew about it. Our course is count as extracurricular activities, but apart from that, they teach us art as well. So the environment is very good here. They make students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to be a singer from my 3rd grade. DU also has plenty of application forms every year, but I heard about this college, so I took admission into it. Events and fests are quite regular here, and every day is like a fest, which is amazing.

Placements: 105 students are in BFA course in IKDV University. The college is the best for placements, and 80% of students got placed. Our seniors are the best, disciplined and friendly.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available with the best speed. The best quality classrooms are available. Our classrooms have fans, chairs, tables, coolers, the best quality light, acrylic colors and a watercolor table. The labs are available. The library has the world's best books and the books of English and all languages. The best hostel is available.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful in my work. The teachers of all subjects are highly educated. Their teaching is the best. This course has tough competition. Students can also get teaching jobs.

Other: The best thing in our course is creativity. We can improve our drawing skills, technology and art works. The best events are painting exhibition etc.

A great college for pursuing arts.

Placements: The students can work as teachers in any schools or colleges after completing the BPA course. But after PhD, students can be professors in any university, and PhD course is also available in this college. The students who qualify in the NET exam have various options to work anywhere in the world. Few senior students are working in abroad.

Infrastructure: We have a great environment with a beautiful garden. There is a Wi-Fi facility on the campus, and most importantly, there are no distractions like malls and cinema halls around the college. Students will love to study here. We have a gym and yoga classes for students, and there are a basketball and badminton court for sports. Most importantly, the fee is very less.

Faculty: The BPA course is for music, and BFA is for arts like painting, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and sculpture. Students can check the college website for other courses. The most important thing is, the fee structure in this college is very low. Economically poor students can also study here. The hostel facilities are also very good.

IKSVV is a best college for fine arts.

Placements: The placement is low in the field of fine arts we are not getting very good packages. We spend a lot of money to learn, but yet we satisfy with our institution because it's good to be here and learn. It is not like that we get placement immediately but will have a good future. Our seniors are in good position.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in fact amazing. It's a heritage place and the Raj Mahal of Indira Devi rani. Good sacred boundary wall surrounds the whole campus and there is a very big hall which never needs an AC even. Other than the vintage pride campus we have all the world class and latest technology to explore here, amazing sound lab, great library and great tools for our fine artwork. Press, printmaker etc., are available in the college.

Faculty: This is proud that Nagdas sir our HOD and now he becomes dean of all visual arts department, he is the only one who creates the motivation to the students and building fruitful future for his students. He had done more than 3 international graphics festival which is amazing and no doubt about it we got the A grade university because of him.

Other: University and our department had done 3 international graphics festival, organized by Shree Nagdas sir who invited big international artist and printmakers.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, placement, management is the worst,. .

Placements: Zero placement, Student have to do by their own. Number of admission are very low I am regretting my decision for admission here No roles offered in our course No recruiting companies for our course. I don't wanna give even one star, this college is the worst,. .

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is the worst, have no facilities of medical emergency not even a disprine. Always shift classes And disturb students. Even shift class to basement where no facilities of toilets and watercooler. When I was in 3rd year We shift our class 3times.

Faculty: No curriculum activities, faculty are not good, teachers never teaches anything. Teachers have no experience in teaching. Freshers and farewell and even annual function is spending since last year. No guidence given by teachers and HOD. Teachers jealous of each other.

Other: Took activity feels but did not take any initiative to do last year our annual function didn't happened, can you guys believe, no freshers and farewell.
