No, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) generally does not allow lateral entry into the 2nd year of its B.A. (Hons) programs. Admission is on the basis of JNU Entrance Exam (now CUET-UG) at the first year only, which has a structured three-year curriculum. For undergraduate courses at JNU, lateral entry is rare.In as much as that, the system is inclined towards continuous progression. There may be exceptions for particular cases (such as transfer students) but there was no general late lateral entry policy upto now so, you would have to start from the first year after qualifying via CUET-UG and meeting eligibility (10+2 with 50%+ marks).
