For M.A. in English at JNU, the admission criteria for reserved category students is based on the performance in CUET (PG)-2025 and deprivation points earned by the eligible candidates taken together. The reservation policy of the Government of India shall be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PWD categories.
The eligibility criteria for M.A. in English is a Bachelor's Degree in English or in any other subject under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks.
The admission shall be given on the basis of performance of a candidate in Domain Knowledge paper only, i.e., paper of concerned subject.
The number of seats available for M.A. in English is 47, with 7 seats for SC, 4 seats for ST, 13 seats for OBC, 5 seats for EWS, and 2 seats for PWD.
The eligibility criteria for M.A. in English is a Bachelor's Degree in English or in any other subject under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks.
