Three terms are taken for each subject in JIIT sector 62. The passing score for each subject is a total of 15 marks in all three terms. So considering the scenario where a student is not able to score 15 marks, he has to repeat the subject in his next to next semester like if he is in 5th semester then he will have to repeat it in 7th semester.

3. If you would be living in hostel in both the places then JIIT would be bit cheaper relatively.
4. ROI is good in both the colleges as placements are good. As both the colleges are almost of the same range so branch should be the one factor you should take your final decision on. Therefore, JIIT CSE would be better option just because of the branch you are getting.

The placement rates of the college are not that bad for CSE students. Almost 100% of the students get placed each year. In case of recession, then yes, getting placement becomes a little tough but college does its best to place each and every student. For other departments, like ECE and Biotech, companies do come but they expect you to have knowledge of computer as well.

I will suggest you that opt for Computer Science Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology as the placement in this course is pretty decent. Moreover, the faculty of Computer Science is better than that of other colleges.

JIIT is better than SRM any given day!
Located in Noida and having a good communication network you have access to pretty much everything around unlike SRM which is in a remote area. The coding culture in JIIT Noida is very competitive and if you are willing to accept the challenge and prove yourselves then come to JIIT without a doubt. SRM holds entrance tests and allots branches likewise while admission process in JIIT is purely on the basis of JEE Mains score except Biotechnology where seats are allotted on merit basis as well. This means only top notch students willing to learn and explore more come to JIIT. Infrastructure is very well planned and the mess as well as hostels are really good compared to any other colleges. The fee structure is very nominal compared to other engineering colleges (2.5 Lacs per annum w/o hostel). I suggest if you wanna stay in the Delhi NCR culture then JIIT is a great option but if you want to go and experience distance education then SRM too is a good option but if you are willing to go and study in the Southern part of India then VIT is the best college without a doubt. All the Best!

Unfortunately no. With these scored getting an admission in JIIT is pretty tough. Though you can try other colleges. Best of luck!
