Life at JSPM: Faculty members are good, but I think it has more fees.
Placements: Our university started last year. In the previous year, 27 out of 35 students got placed from our branch. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest package is 75 Lacs. Our branch has a collaboration with IBM, and mostly this company hires students. Almost all students of my branch get guaranteed internships from the college in several domains. Roles like cloud computing, AI engineer, tester, prompt engineer, database engineer, robotics, UiPath, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. There is a separate lab building where there is a Mac lab, a gaming lab, a graphic design lab, and 1 big library. All over the campus, there is Wi-Fi connectivity. No hostel facility is provided by the college. Outside the campus, there are many hostels, PG, and mess facilities. There is 1 big food court in the college and 2 cafeterias inside the campus. A great quality of several foods is available.
Faculty: I can't say whether it will be worth it for me to become industry-ready or not. The course curriculum is relevant, and it will definitely make my resume better as it provides internships twice a year. It is definitely difficult to pass for many students. There are a total of 200 marks for each semester, from which 100 marks are for the theory exam and 40 marks for the assignment and practical. 60 marks are divided into 2 in a semester unit, which is 30 for the 1st unit and 30 for the 2nd unit. From this, the minimum pass marks are 80 out of 200.
Other: AI has a scope for at least 10 years in the future, so I decided to go with it by following trends. The area between the buildings is large, so I need to walk a lot to switch lectures. The lift does not work sometimes. Very few events and fests are celebrated. No scholarships are provided for university students.

The environment is chaotic and not safe.
Placements: There is almost zero placement. The average package offered is less than 3–4 LPA. No top company that I’ve heard of visits the campus. Out of 200 students from the first year of B.Com and BBA combined, only 3 got internships, and I’m one of them. The top role offered is assistant manager. Even that was secured by students on their own, not through the college. Students who get jobs on their own are forced to say that they got them through campus placements.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. The classrooms and library are average. Sometimes students are not allowed to go into the library. There is no hostel for boys. The third-party hostels have horrible food and no medical facilities in the college. So nothing better can be expected from those hostels. Games are held only once a year during the sports meet in a week. Otherwise, there are no games.
Faculty: Teachers are great, though not all of them. The curriculum is not very relevant, and students do not learn anything new or what is required in the industry. Experiential learning is zero. Semester exams are good, but the pass percentage is low because they allow anyone to sit in the exam even if their attendance is below the required level.
Other: I chose this course to achieve my goal, and this is just an initial step. To be honest, there is nothing great about it. There is no value for a B.Com graduate in the market, and the curriculum is not very relevant. The college rarely organizes any events and those that are planned often get canceled midway due to mismanagement. Nothing is good about this college. Most students are local, whose parents are politicians or famous people in the area, and they come to college thinking they are some kind of gangster or something.

I am experiencing no college life here.
Placements: The placement batch has not yet passed from the college. Almost every student gets an internship, as it is compulsory for all students to do internships. In the 2nd year, they probably provide a virtual internship, I think, which is of no use. They have a dedicated placement cell.
Infrastructure: They provide Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, but drinking water is not provided in sufficient quantities and there are very few water filter machines placed. Classrooms are decent, but labs are excellent, and they consist of high-specification computers. Labs are huge in size, and there is a separate building for them. The infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Some teachers are qualified, but some are not. Teaching quality is decent. The curriculum is outdated, it is only technical knowledge, no practical knowledge gained. They should bring a relevant curriculum. Their curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, supervision is strictly done, and 75% of attendance is compulsory for the final examination.
Other: I chose CSE because it was the best branch here, and I had a chance of getting placed. It should bring a relevant curriculum. Here, the events are not done, and this management is not proper. No scholarship is provided to any student of the college.

It is good at teaching. It has a good campus.
Placements: It is a private university. It is the best college in Wagholi. It provides the best education for students. There are all things which are needed for students or better studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice. There are labs for students for their better studies but there is no Wi-Fi on campus. There are jammers for it and the network is not working properly. Classrooms are nice but fans and some lights are not working properly. It is a famous college in Pune but there is an issue with water in toilets.
Faculty: Our faculty members are nice. In some other branches, teaching is not proper according to the students. Some subjects taught us only general knowledge as the subject teachers are not teaching properly. Semester exams are not hard if we attend lectures.

Good at teaching and theory but do the wrong thing for fees, don't allow some people for exam too.
Placements: Honesty, the placement numbers shared by college look impressive on paper but not in reality M.Sc. students getting an internship after their post graduation I don't think they will provide us good. Top companies are Wipro and Infosys. Like 30% of students get pass, and internships are too long. Top role offered is data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college is very decent. Our department doesn't have much of PCs, all of them are outdated and not easily accessible. It provides decent Wi-Fi and classes do not use more technology especially in our class even lights are not working. No AC within the classroom and no e-learning a basic board and chalk.
Faculty: Teachers are helping at some point, typically very basic theories. Not much 30% we need to pass but some students are still getting failed. One of our faculty members said only 30 out of 100 students get a degree in the courses and we fail others.
Other: Course is trending for coding and it is average.

Satisfied a little but college charges a lot.
Placements: JSPM University has a dedicated placement cell and works decent so you should try off campus on a genuine basis. Student in the majority gets internships. Companies like TCS came.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is currently working. Labs are fine and with a good and big classroom, the environment is pretty much decent for studies, and with qualified faculty members its now becoming a good to better college with support for students career growth. Hostels are only available for girls so get details about PGs nearby. Library are decent and have beautiful and big reading halls that's a plus point. Labs are also decent with good specifications for better performance.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and the college is very strict towards students growth so they keep tracking about teachers performance by feedback. Curriculum is decent needs to be improved and the curriculum is not that much good that can create good impact but colleges is on a track for improvement .
Other: I chose my course to get a high-paying job. Management needs to be improved. Events and fests are not that good but that's what the majority of colleges don't give.

The JSPM University accepts entrance exams like MHT-CET/JEE/Preeminent Education and Research Association (PERA) CET. MHT CET and PERA are state-level exams, which are generally easier in comparison to JEE. As JEE is a national-level entrance test, it is cosidered more difficult than the other two.
