Average infrastructure, great library, excellent food, and average placement. Not an ideal college.
Placements: I am a second-year BCA (Cybersecurity) student at JSPM University, Pune. While I don't know the exact placement percentage. Major companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys recruit here. They offer entry-level software development, tech support, QA, and data analyst roles with average packages from 3 LPA to 4.5 LPA. The college also arranges a 1.5 to 2 months internship programme after every academic year to provide real-world experience. Hardworking students who excel in these internships can secure their packages up to 7 LPA-8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus Wi-Fi can be weak outdoors but it works perfectly fine in the classrooms. The classrooms are decent and comfortable enough to study. The library is the highlight of the whole college. It is a quiet comfortable space where anyone would love to study. The labs are also well-maintained and everything works smoothly. The food here is excellent and very hygienic compared to other colleges. The college also provides medical facilities and has an active sports club. The college provides girls' hostel on campus. There are plenty of boys' hostels and PGs available around the campus.
Faculty: The faculty here is good and supportive. The faculty members here are knowledgeable and qualified and they help you with every problem. Teaching quality is also good. The curriculum we have in our course changes every year according to industry needs. The syllabus here is moderate so it's not that difficult to pass the exam but it still gets you industry-ready. The college exam grades follow a relatively fixed grading rule so the passing criteria are dependent on the toppers and the average performance of the whole college.
Other: I chose this course because I have always wanted to pursue a career in cybersecurity. I chose this college as my last option but it has worked fine till now. I would recommend college to add more practical knowledge to the course which will make students like the course even more. The college conducts fests and all and it's good.

Good college with better placement.
Placements: JSPM University offers us average placement and decent opportunities in the IT field and service sectors. Around 60-80 percent of students get benefits from placements, mainly high-reputed companies that visit this college, such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: This university has decent infrastructure with modern classrooms, labs, and well-structured workshops. The campus has its own cricket ground, providing sports like cricket, football, etc. The hostel is available for girls with security and safety but they have to improve the food quality.
Faculty: JSPM University offers us a great or huge lab and also offers decent facilities. The curriculum is based on the present industry-oriented but not very advanced. Exams are conducted semester-wise, and results are shown in SGPA. Exams are tough at this university.
Other: This university has better classrooms with the best staff. In this college, the main focus is on IT-related fields, and it also has great placements in the IT sector. I chose CSE in B.Tech because Pune has a large IT hub.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am in my year of college. The campus is really good here. A lot of students get placed in companies. 65 to 75 percent of students find jobs. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package is between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Some of the companies that come for recruitment are TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. The college also provides support for internships.
Infrastructure: The department has good classrooms. It also has labs with all the equipment we need. We have Wi-Fi over the campus, which is very helpful. The library is too good. We have sports facilities and medical facilities available. The food in the canteen is average. The girls' hostel is already up and running. The department has a girls' hostel that's functional. The boys' hostel is not ready yet it is still under construction. The infrastructure is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. The exams we have at the end of the semester are not too hard. To appear in end-semester exam they take two tests. Each test is worth thirty marks. We need to get at least eighteen marks when we add the marks from both tests together. The school uses a system where they compare our grades to the grades of students in the class. They follow a relatively grading. The teachers are very supportive.

Life at JSPM: Faculty members are good, but I think it has more fees.
Placements: Our university started last year. In the previous year, 27 out of 35 students got placed from our branch. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest package is 75 Lacs. Our branch has a collaboration with IBM, and mostly this company hires students. Almost all students of my branch get guaranteed internships from the college in several domains. Roles like cloud computing, AI engineer, tester, prompt engineer, database engineer, robotics, UiPath, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. There is a separate lab building where there is a Mac lab, a gaming lab, a graphic design lab, and 1 big library. All over the campus, there is Wi-Fi connectivity. No hostel facility is provided by the college. Outside the campus, there are many hostels, PG, and mess facilities. There is 1 big food court in the college and 2 cafeterias inside the campus. A great quality of several foods is available.
Faculty: I can't say whether it will be worth it for me to become industry-ready or not. The course curriculum is relevant, and it will definitely make my resume better as it provides internships twice a year. It is definitely difficult to pass for many students. There are a total of 200 marks for each semester, from which 100 marks are for the theory exam and 40 marks for the assignment and practical. 60 marks are divided into 2 in a semester unit, which is 30 for the 1st unit and 30 for the 2nd unit. From this, the minimum pass marks are 80 out of 200.
Other: AI has a scope for at least 10 years in the future, so I decided to go with it by following trends. The area between the buildings is large, so I need to walk a lot to switch lectures. The lift does not work sometimes. Very few events and fests are celebrated. No scholarships are provided for university students.

The environment is chaotic and not safe.
Placements: There is almost zero placement. The average package offered is less than 3–4 LPA. No top company that I’ve heard of visits the campus. Out of 200 students from the first year of B.Com and BBA combined, only 3 got internships, and I’m one of them. The top role offered is assistant manager. Even that was secured by students on their own, not through the college. Students who get jobs on their own are forced to say that they got them through campus placements.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. The classrooms and library are average. Sometimes students are not allowed to go into the library. There is no hostel for boys. The third-party hostels have horrible food and no medical facilities in the college. So nothing better can be expected from those hostels. Games are held only once a year during the sports meet in a week. Otherwise, there are no games.
Faculty: Teachers are great, though not all of them. The curriculum is not very relevant, and students do not learn anything new or what is required in the industry. Experiential learning is zero. Semester exams are good, but the pass percentage is low because they allow anyone to sit in the exam even if their attendance is below the required level.
Other: I chose this course to achieve my goal, and this is just an initial step. To be honest, there is nothing great about it. There is no value for a B.Com graduate in the market, and the curriculum is not very relevant. The college rarely organizes any events and those that are planned often get canceled midway due to mismanagement. Nothing is good about this college. Most students are local, whose parents are politicians or famous people in the area, and they come to college thinking they are some kind of gangster or something.

I am experiencing no college life here.
Placements: The placement batch has not yet passed from the college. Almost every student gets an internship, as it is compulsory for all students to do internships. In the 2nd year, they probably provide a virtual internship, I think, which is of no use. They have a dedicated placement cell.
Infrastructure: They provide Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, but drinking water is not provided in sufficient quantities and there are very few water filter machines placed. Classrooms are decent, but labs are excellent, and they consist of high-specification computers. Labs are huge in size, and there is a separate building for them. The infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Some teachers are qualified, but some are not. Teaching quality is decent. The curriculum is outdated, it is only technical knowledge, no practical knowledge gained. They should bring a relevant curriculum. Their curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, supervision is strictly done, and 75% of attendance is compulsory for the final examination.
Other: I chose CSE because it was the best branch here, and I had a chance of getting placed. It should bring a relevant curriculum. Here, the events are not done, and this management is not proper. No scholarship is provided to any student of the college.
