Candidates seeking admission in JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research must fulfil the eligibility and selection requirements. The selection criteria varies course-wise. Candidates consider merit in the last qualifying exam for BSc, MSc, BBA, etc. For courses such as MD, MBBS, BDS, etc., entrance exams are accepted. Hence, direct admission is not available in JSS Mysore.

JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research offer various BSc courses through its Medical college. There are 167 seats for the courses offered at the JSS Medical College. This seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. 

JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research considers NEET UG for MBBS and BDS courses, NEET PG for MD and MS. The academy also accepts NEET SS for admission to DM and MCh programmes. Once the provisional seat allotment is over based on entrance exam score, candidates can confirm their seats by paying course fees and submitting important documents.
