The BTech graduates of Kakatiya University are offered various job opportunities during the placement drive of the university. Some of the recruiters of the university over the past few years are Tata Motors, Manthan Systems, DONE By NONE, Corevision and BricMor Infra Projects Pvt Ltd. According to the NIRF report 2023, the average package offered during Kakatiya University BTech placements 2022 stood at INR 3.55 LPA. Apart from the campus placements, the BTech graduates of the university found employment opportunities in industries like IT, construction, auto ancillary, etc.

The registration fee payable by the engineering aspirants is INR 500 for SC/ST & PWD, and INR 900 for others. For TS EAPCET counselling, the registration fee is INR 600 for SC/ST & PWD, and INR 1200 for others. Both the fees can be paid via online payment modes like debit cards, credit cards and netbanking.

This means that over the years, it has been more difficult to take admission to the BTech course of Kakatiya University. For example, during the last round of counselling, the TS EAPCET rank cut-off for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering went from 11,012 in 2022, to 8517 in 2023. For BTech in Information Technology, the rank cut-off during the last round of Kakatiya University admission went from 13,885 in 20222 to 11,436 in 2023.

The admission to the BTech programmes of Kakatiya University is based on the merit list of TS EAPCET and the following counselling thereof. So, the admission process for BTech at Kakatiya University begins with the registration for TS EAPCET. In 2024, the online submission of TS EAPCET applications started in February and continued till May. The exam for engineering courses was conducted during the second week of May. The counselling process is expected to start in the mont of June, after the declaration of the TS EAPCET results.

TS EAPCET deadline is declared each year by conducting authority. In 2024, the last date to apply for the exam was May 01, 2024. The exam was conducted in the month of May. The counselling rounds will begin in June.
