It’s a lovely college to build your career.

Placements: Mostly, 90% of students are getting placements from our department. As per my knowledge, the average package is 6.5 LPA. Top reputable companies, as well as the government sector, hire our nursing students. It plays a vital role in the development of skills and experience.

Infrastructure: The university infrastructure is stunning and excellent. Lab facilities are well-settled, and the equipment is also available. Wi-Fi is available in our department, and there is a library to study in. A canteen is also available and get full of stomach.

Faculty: The teaching faculty is excellent, and they are loving and caring. Their qualifications are excellent. They are highly experienced. The syllabus is aligned with NIT, IIT, and MBBS colleges. The semester exams are moderate, but you still have to study. Practical exams are taken very seriously.

Other: I chose this due to its presence in our locality. A scholarship is also provided by the state government.

Fee concession is available for lower-caste. It has beautiful atmosphere and good faculty members.

Placements: The placement scenario in our college is average. Some students have been placed in companies like TCS and other IT firms. There is a good placement cell that provides support to students. They conduct mock interviews and offer placement assistance starting from the first year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have a well-equipped IT lab with modern computer systems and a fast Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are well-maintained and have high-tech facilities. We also have a library with a large collection of books. There is no dedicated ground for sports.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and friendly. They are also well qualified. Computer Science is a good opportunity course. The course curriculum is relevant, though it is beneficial if it is more practical. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The college is affiliated with Kannur University.

Other: On campus, we have some fun events and festivals, but there could be more big events. The campus crowd is friendly, and there are a few extracurricular activities. But we don't have a sports ground, which I miss. Connectivity to the campus is okay, though it can be a little hard to get around at times. The surrounding area is peaceful but could use more places to relax or hang out. Scholarships are available, but only a few people get them.

Placements: This is a normal degree course. There are no placements. This course is helpful for achieving higher educational purposes and examinations. This college does not offer placements in recruiting companies. The roles offered in Chemistry are teaching and in pharmaceutical companies.

Infrastructure: There are really good facilities in the college. As a Chemistry student, good lab facilities are very important. Here, the lab facilities are really impressive. We have three Chemistry labs in our department, which are used by 1st-year, 2nd-year, and 3rd-year students, as well as PG students.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Teaching quality is fine. Course curriculum is relevant. I don't think it fully prepares students. The difficulty of the semester exams fluctuates, it's pretty average. The pass percentage is 70%.

Satisfied with the course at this college.

Placements: Sir Syed Institute For Technical Studies is a self-financing college so irrespective of your percentage, you can get admission to this college. However, you can also get merit seat if you have good percentage and the process occurs through college allotment. There are no alignments with any companies for this course to my best knowledge and the college doesn't provide internships. This course offers jobs related to research fields but doesn't always have to be confined within this.

Infrastructure: We have pretty good facilities and required infrastructure available for this course. The biotechnology department is well-reputed in this college compared to other colleges in Kannur. Wi-Fi is available, laboratories are well-maintained, spacious and contain all necessary apparatus. Classrooms don't have much facilities just normal classes, not hi-tech only some classes have projectors. The small library contains required books and supplementary materials. I am not a hosteller but as far as I know, both gents and ladies hostels are well maintained and safe.

Faculty: Biotechnology department is blessed with great teachers who know their job well. They are very approachable and amiable. Teachers will support you and they will have your back when you need it. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes you learn from basic things to complex ones. Towards the end of the final year, you will get hands-on experience and more practical knowledge needed for the industry. Semester exams are not hard but to crack and can be easily passed if you have your roots related in biology and syllabus strong.

Other: I chose this course as I have a bio-science background and didn't want to go for medical field so after a little searching I found this course interesting. I saw potential in this course in the future. I feel a bit more hands-on experience is needed than theoretical knowledge. Events and seminars are held frequently and actively compared to other departments. For a self-financing college, the campus is poor and small in infrastructure. But new blocks are being constructed now thus improvements are seen.

Placements: There are low chances of placements. Some companies come and take interviews. The college provides Bachelor of Science, Commerce, and Arts subjects. Therefore, most of the students go for higher studies. The college provides fewer chances of placements.

Infrastructure: Payyanur College provides great facilities and infrastructure for each course. Labs and library facilities are available here, including Physics labs, Zoology and Botany labs, and Commerce labs. The library is very helpful. The college provides a ladies' hostel with good facilities.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. My department teachers were very helpful mentally. There will be semester exams and unit tests. The semester exams are sometimes easy and sometimes difficult. The university questions were difficult most of the time.

It is very good in studies, and academics are understandable. Teachers are friendly.

Placements: We are 35 students in our class. The package offered ranges from 1-3 LPA. Most students crack NET, SET, JRF, and other competitive exams, especially in our Chemistry department. Roles like bank managers, school teachers, etc., are offered in our college. Few students are more efficient.

Infrastructure: The view is unbelievable. The view or atmosphere makes the day in college memorable for every student studying in this college. I am very lucky to get seated in this college and especially in the chemistry department. The maintenance works are well done, and the lift service is on the way to construction. Classrooms are so good.

Faculty: Each faculty member is so friendly and nice. Especially in the Chemistry department, they are just like friends or family members to every student. If we have doubts, it is not the same to ask them in front of or in the middle of class, which makes our teachers special.
