No, you can't join Kazi Nazrul University directly. The admission for the various courses of the Kazi Nazrul University is either merit based or entrance exam performance based. The admission procedure is different for different procedures. The admission into BE/BTech course is based on the candidate's rank in the WBJEE entrance exam. The candidates are admitted to PhD courses through an entrance exam which is followed by a personal interview. Also, the candidates must regularly check the official university website to remain updated with any changes made in the admission procedure.

The Kazi Nazrul University Act of 2012 was the legislation that established the university.The university appointed Anuradha Mukherjee as its first vice-chancellor.Sheikh Hasina, the prime minister of Bangladesh, was awarded an honorary doctorate of literature by the university in 2018 during a special convocation.Studying at Kazi Nazrul University is significantly less expensive than taking other courses. Numerous scholarships are available, including the National Scholarship, the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, and the Kanyashree Scholarship. You are able to apply and be granted one. For students in need, the college also offers financial aid.Overall the placement condition is poor and very poor in courses other than B.Tech.
