KIIT University MSc Eligibility & Highlights 2026
MSc is a two-year course offered in four specialisation by different schools. Admission to MSc is based on KIITEE score and counselling round conducted for selection of the candidates. The total fee of Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology specialisation is INR 3.92 lakh. The total fee of Nursing and Computer Science specialisation is INR 3.08 lakh and INR 1.28 lakh, respectively. MSc-PhD is a five-year integrated programme offered in three specialisations. The first two years of coursework is towards the MSc degree, followed by research work of a minimum of three-year towards the PhD degree. Aspirants are shortlisted for MSc-PhD based on their performance in KIITEE.

Candidates who have completed BSc/ BE/ BTech or an equivalent degree with at least 60% aggregate and have bachelor’s degree with Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics as one of the subject are eligible to apply for MSc-PhD programme. Engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply for the programme. Students who are in the final year of graduation may also apply. No, it is not difficult to get into the KIIT School of Film and Media. Admissions are based on the merit only. The institute considers class 12th marks for admissions to its UG courses including BFTP and BPA.
