Best college in Odisha for engineering.

Placements: From the end of 6th semester, companies started to visit our college. Some companies were Tata Technologies, Optum, Deloitte, Accenture, Wipro, JSW, AMNS, Maruti Suzuki, Bosch, State Street, GE Healthcare, PWC, TVS, LTI Mindtree, etc. The highest package varies from branch to branch, in mechanical the highest was 13 LPA with an average of 7 LPA in core sector. One best thing about college was that it gave 100% placement. Various companies came for internships like Wipro, Genpact, Deloitte, Tata ...

Most expensive college in Odisha.

Placements: Placement scenario is good for KIIT as compared to other private colleges. Median packages are around 5 LPA - 7 LPA. The highest package is around 30 LPA. Most students get placed in atleast one company. Mass recruiters such as Infosys, TCS, etc., are the biggest recruiters like all over India. CS, IT, and electronics graduates have slightly better luck at placements. You will get plenty of internship offers via the KIIT mail ID. But you would have to pay for them on your own.

Decent college, if the intake of students is less, I think it can excel more.

Placements: Looking at the fee structure, the ROI of our college is very low, in which only 40%-50% of the students get placed with an average of 8 LPA. The companies that give the most frequent placements will be Deloitte and TCS. The roles would be from software developers to managers.

Decent if you do not have options.

Placements: I am at 1st year, and about the information I have received, placements are just like what an average private college has. Mass recruiters like TCL are common. The highest package offered is 53LPA last year, and the average package offered is 7LPA. Never heard of tech giants like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft hiring here.

I am not satisfied with my college, its decent, but not worth it.

Placements: In my course last year, according to seniors, 70% of students got placed. The highest package is 52LPA. The average package is around 5LPA to 6LPA. Not sure about roles, but most are sales based. Internship opportunities are like 20% to 30%. Overall, very poor placements.
