Bachelor of Design or BDes is a four-year programme offered at the UG level. The course is offered in two specialisations. For admission to BDes, aspirants need to pass KIITEE conducted by the institute. The score of the candidates are considered for final selection. The batch size for both the specialisations is 40 each. Candidates who have completed Class 12 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for BDes. The total fee of BDes is INR 6.40 lakh plus additional charges. The eligibility and more details of the course is given below:

Students can opt for the KIIT BTech course with a tuition fee of INR 3.8 Lakh- INR 19 Lakh and seek admission through the eligibility criteria of achieving 60% in 10+2 and qualifying KIITEE, JEE Main, and other suggested exams by the Institute. Faculty is really helpful and supportive!
Placements: College placement is good, 70% of students are placed each year. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest package offered 2.5 LPA. 90% of students are offered summer internship in good fashion houses, eg. Torani's, Aditya Birla, lifestyle etc. Roles offered are usually assistant designers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good, Wi-Fi is not helpful at all. Library is average, but it have all the documentation by top students over the years and reference for many projects. Hostel facilities are really good but mess food is inhumane. Security is good and tight.
Faculty: The faculty is good, friendly, helpful, supportive and understanding. The course is relevant and actually gives real life experiences with its industry visits out of states. Exams are really strict and gives the whole guest of the subjects. The pass percentage is 40% (I. e c grade).

Very good faculty and education system.
Placements: Many different workshops are held. Top recruiting companies are Birla, Pantaloons, and many other brands. Everyone here gets an internship based on their work. An internship is offered on the basis of performance. Many students get admission each year to the Kiit School of Fashion Technology, which is one of the best fashion colleges in Odisha.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good. There is a library especially for fashion students. Wi-Fi is very good for all the students. The quality of the food is also very good. Different playgrounds are available to people for different sports. There is also a gym room for students.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and very qualified. The faculty members are very friendly and extremely helpful. The semester exams are very easy. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The teaching quality is extremely good.
Other: Everyone who studied here got very good placements and jobs. Many conferences and workshops are held specially for the students.

The college is good but not the best as compared to other government colleges.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered to the textile student was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. Aditya Birla Group visited our campus for placements. Roles offered were fashion and textile design. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA, and minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA. Almost 20-30% of the students got an internship in the Aditya Birla Group.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available nowadays in our college and day by day resources are provided conveniently to us. Notes in the form of PDF are also provided, and smart classrooms are always available for virtual understanding. Hostel facilities are far better than other colleges in India. It is value for money and never make us feel like we are far away from home.
Faculty: Teachers are frank, helpful and dominating towards us. Teaching quality is not so good, but at least they create a base to us so we can address our platform properly. The course curriculum is relevant to stand in the industry as in this field only industrial work are taught to build us for the industry.
