Kurukshetra University MA Eligibility & Highlights 2025

Kurukshetra University MA is a two-year programme offered at the PG level. Available in multiple specialisations, the MA programme is spread over four semesters. For seeking admission to any of the MA specialisations, candidates are evaluated based on merit in the previous qualifying UG-level degree. Psychology, Defence Strategic Studies, English, Music, Sociology are a few of the specialisations offered under the MA course.

Kurukshetra University also offers full-time integrated MA programmes in two specialisations as part of the academic programmes. The duration of all the programmes is five years, distributed in 10 semesters of six months each. Final selection to the programme is based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Placements: Many students do not get jobs related to M.A. Even those who get placed are hired for non-management roles like sales or back office jobs in small firms. Placement support is average. Most students have to find jobs on their own or go off campus. The college does not invite quality recruiters.

Infrastructure: Classrooms should be spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with smart boards or projectors to make learning more interactive. Placements: The percentage of students in this course is 84%. It is a combined boys and girls class. The maximum salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Trident, etc. Approximately 71% of students trained from our courses at Trident. Our course is a great exploration of our civilizational culture and national origins. In our course, students can study and learn to follow ethics in their lives.

Infrastructure: Kurukshetra University always provides top-quality facilities and facilities. Our agency staff solve problems all the time. Strong Wi-Fi and spacious laboratory rooms are available. Library provides a peaceful environment for studying.

Placements: Internship opportunities for CSE students are good. Companies like American Express, Goldman Sachs, and many other prestigious firms offer internships. These internships typically last for two months, and the stipend varies from Rs. 30,000 per month - 1 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are average for the first two years, with combined rooms for three members. For the 3rd and 4th years, single rooms are provided. A table, chair, bed, balcony, light, and fan are included. Bathrooms are common for all, with three bathrooms on one side. Mess food is average. Hostel registration is done online, followed by the submission of physical documents after paying the fees. The fee is Rs. 12,840, with Rs. 4,000 being a security deposit.

Faculty: Not all faculty members, but a few of them are good in nature. Professors in the CSE department are very helpful. Exams are divided into two sets, mid-sem and end-sem, with a level that is neither too easy nor too difficult. We also have a relative grading system. Thus, even average students who are not too strong in studies have a good chance of scoring well.

The campus has trees, plants, and greenery all over the campus.

Placements: After completing 6th semester students are eligible for valid campus placements. Companies like Daffodils, Code Quotient, Hike, TCS, etc., visit the college for placements. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA and the average salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. Almost all students are placed here. My plan after my degree is to get a good campus placement.

Infrastructure: There is a wide variety of books but sometimes there is a little bit shortage of books. Smart boards are provided for coaching. I think sports faculty members are poor as there is no proper equipment, and no attention is given to sports. Sports events are not held.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty good. Almost in a class, there are 60 to 70 students and this amount of students can easily be handled. CSE faculty members are one of the best teachers. They are always ready to help every student. I do not like mechanical faculty members because they are rude to students. There are 3 sessional exams that are held before the final exam and the best of 2 will be considered.

Other: Many fests are held here like tech fest, raw talks, mela, and blood donation mela. There are many clubs here which students can join. They are very helpful for a student to learn new skills and enhance them.

Campus is big and beautiful. Cleanliness is there on the campus.

Placements: The college provides internship opportunities with various accounting firms that may or may not offer stipends. Each student must go for internship programs before their 5th semester and the certificate provided by the company should be submitted to the faculty members.

Infrastructure: Annual freshmen and farewell party held. At the start of the session, each student participated in a talent search. They can show their talent like dancing, singing, sketching, painting, cooking without fire, mehndi, speech, poetry , debate, quizzes, and rituals. Other competitions and workshops are held according to festivals and occasions. Sports activities offered in college . Proper ground or court with a coach is provided to students. Students also got selected at national levels.

Faculty: The teachers and the non-teaching staff there are super friendly. We can share anything and everything with them. They are very understanding and students can be highly motivated by them. The college and the management provide a good atmosphere for students.
