Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is a really good college.
Placements: Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is very reputed for its placements. 95% of our course students got placed in good companies. This college’s placements training staff arranges more campus interviews every year. My batch had the highest salary package of 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. More security facilities are available in the college. Free Wi-Fi and classrooms, along with a well stocked library are also available in this college. The hostel facilities are also good. Hostel mess provides a variety of food items.
Faculty: Our college has a number of courses available because of which a lot of designated teaching staff is working at this college. Our mechanical department staff includes more qualified and educated persons. They teach very well. They conduct more practical classes.100 percent of the students passed in all the exams in 2021.
Other: Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is the best college. This college provides a college bus transportation. Sports grounds facilities are available in this college. Events are conducted every month.

I am not satisfied because there is no enjoyment during functions.
Placements: In our college, almost 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are design engineer and quality engineer. Many students get internships at Red Wing.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs, classrooms, and library are good. The hostel facilities are good. The hostel is well-maintained and is under CCTV surveillance. The quality of food in the mess is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and friendly. They guide us and clear our doubts. They prepare us well for the event. Exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my interest in this field.

Absolutely satisfied because of good infrastructure, placements, faculty etc.
Placements: Placed before completing my degree and started working in the core field. And also I amproud to be a student coordinator of the placement cell in the year of 2014-15. They are periodically providing training programme (Super Student programme) to improve our communication skills and other soft skills.
Infrastructure: Our college has better infrastructure in that locality. We are having good lab facilities, library, play grounds and also having very good medical college and dental college hospital. Seperate 1st year hostel for both male and female candidates are also there. Separate canteen for boys and girls. No issues we have faced in the infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty with good knowledge in the various fields of engineering were taking classes to the students. They are using latest technology to teach the students. Live examples are given for students to understand easily. They are well experienced and they can make even average students to the topper list.

Truth behind the engineering college.
Placements: The college provided the worst placements. Only one or two core companies came, and they bring only BPO companies, and in some departments, not even a single company has come. But they advertise as 100% placement. You can be get placed on campus only if you wish to work in BPO and marketing companies.
Infrastructure: We can see the average infrastructure in this college. The worst thing is what they advertise won't be there in the college. For example, no Wi-Fi, poor lab facilities, poor hostel facilities, and especially I want to say about the food, you can't see such a worst quality hostel food in any other colleges, but they will collect the high amount of fees for food and hostel rooms.
Faculty: The faculty members differ from each department. Only a countable faculty are good in lectures, and the rest will copy-paste the notes on the board, and some don't even know that. They don't know how to handle the students in a right way to educate them. And some faculty just come and relax in the classroom.
Other: In short, an engineer in this college is useless. The college is built at a lake it seems. You can feel that you are in the middle of a forest sometimes. The management focuses only on the medical college, nursing college and hospital where they get higher income.

Terribly disappointed with faculty members and placement in 2017.
Placements: There were no real placements for us and for our senior batch too. A low standard mechanical production company will come and recruit you if you give your interviewer cash of 8000 for a salary of 9000 monthly.
Placement faculty members will be changed often.
I wonder why there should be a placement class since there won't be any placements after the course.
Marketing companies may recruit you as salespersons.
Infrastructure: Classrooms will be neat. You can't learn much from labs since the required instruments will not available. Hostel rooms will be very compact. There will be one one football ground and two volleyball courts. All games will be played on a single ground, whenever it is available.
Faculty: One or two faculty members may be knowledgable and might have subject knowledge.
Even the head of the mechanical department was not qualified for his post. For 400 students, there will be a total of 10 faculty members.
They want you to learn the answers and write them in the exam.
Other: The management will promote the college as it is closer to Chennai but it is not. It is 80 km away from the city.
They will promote the medical college (which is nothing to do with engineering) as a whole campus.
The hostel food will be the worst and their preparation would be poor.

Other: The college has a really good campus. Faculties are rigid but effective nonetheless. The college should work on improving the Hostel and Pantry facilities. Engineering streams have expansive laboratories and training centers. Really a Good college for spending your 4 precious years.

It is an excellent place to increase our knowledge.
Placements: About 95% of students in our batch are placed. Top recruiting companies are Rane India, Wapco, etc. It is mandatory that all students attend an internship. In mechanical engineering, all the students have done internships without fail.
Infrastructure: The college has LCD projector-enabled classrooms and green campus. Good quality food is served in the hostel. The college is incorporated with a hospital and excellent ground facilities.
Faculty: We have kind and supportive faculty members. Mentoring sessions are available once a week, which enhances relationships between students and teachers. Faculty members analyse every movement of students and guide them in a good manner. Moreover, our college encourages students to do industry-oriented projects.
Other: It has a huge number of students and a noise-free environment.

Placements: I am from the 2017 batch and from the mechanical engineering course. Our college has a good placement record. About 92% of students got placed in top MNCs. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like WABCO, JBM, Crushiline, TVS, Range, etc., visit our campus for placements. About 80% of students got an internship. Our course is very useful.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good and clean classrooms with a projector. It has an amazing infrastructure with an attachment of medical, dental and nursing colleges. It has a good library facility with updated textbooks and journals. It provides a separate hostel facility for boys and girls with 24 hours security. The food served is hygienic.
Faculty: Our college has qualified professors and lab technicians. Teachers are very helpful to us. They clear our doubts regularly. Our college provides an industry-based curriculum and practical based as per Anna University. Our college provides value-added courses, and it is very useful for placements.
Other: Our college conducts extracurricular activities like cultural and sports meet. Our college organises fests like Sangamam, Affinity, etc.
