LNMU offers full-time BCom and BCom (Hons) courses in multiple specialisations. Being a state university, LNMU provides affordable education to its students. LNMU BCom application process is usually scheduled between May and June. The exact dates may vary yearly. The application process for the academic year 2025-26 has now been concluded. The university started accepting online applications on May 1, 2025. The last date to apply for BCom admission at LNMU for the current academic year was June 18, 2025. The counselling process is all set to begin on July 4, 2025.

 In order to be eligible to apply to any of the BCom specialisations offered at Lalit Narayan Mithila University, candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in relevant subjects.

LNMU offers an integrated BA+B.Ed programme. The UG-level programme is extended over three years. Before applying for the course, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria specified by the university. The eligibility criteria for the integrated BA B.Ed at LMNU require a candidate to have scored at least 50% in Class 12 from a recognised board. Lalit Narayan Mithila University earlier known as Mithila University was established in 1972 as a state university and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). If a candidate wants to get admission in this university, he/she must have cleared the accepted entrance exams with a relevant score.
