Lovely Professional University conducts the PET (Physical Efficiency Test) starting from April. Candidates can get admission in courses like BPEd, DPEd, BPES, and BSc (Sports and Physical Education) at this university

You might take LPU exam for other at home while being monitered by proctors. For Physical Education, you need to be present at the exam centre. 

The Physical Efficiency Test includes

• 50 meters sprint
• Standing Broad Jump
• Over head back throw {Medicine ball Men (3 Kg.) & Women (2 Kg.)}
• 1000 meters run/walk.

The PhysicaL Efficiency Test Results are made available at  LPU Admit Portal. Candidates can check the results by using their details based on their schedule.

The University extends Scholarship Scheme to students for studying in LPU on various parameters like performance in qualifying examination (10+2 or graduation), LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test), SLPUPET (Sports), Cultural, R & D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards.

Students are provided Saturdays and Sundays off with only 5 days of classes and practicals. At the end of the odd semester, students are given off for 10-15 days and when the even semester ends, 2 months are given off to students.

LPU gives very good scope in sports placements because the university treats sports as a serious career, not just an extra activity.
