NTA Syllabus 2026: Download PDF for JEE Main, NEET, CUET UG/PG, CSIR/UGC NET

The National Testing Agency releases the NTA exam syllabus on the official website. Applicants appearing in the various exams are advised to go through the NTA 2026 syllabus for their preparations.

Note that the syllabus given below is based on the 2025 session. NTA will be releasing the syllabus for the upcoming exam session; until then, candidates can refer to the previous session's syllabus for preparation. The syllabus does not change every year, and hence, the previous session's syllabus can be used for the preparation of the NTA exams.

NTA releases the JEE Main 2026 syllabus on the official website of JEE Main. There are 3 papers in JEE Main and the syllabus for all three papers are made available by the NTA.

• The paper 1 is for BE/Btech candidates with syllabus having subjects  - Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
• The paper 2a is for BArch candidates with syllabus having subjects - Maths, General Aptitude, and Drawing
• The paper 2b is for Bplan candidates with syllabus having subjects - Maths, General Aptitude, and Planning topics

The NEET syllabus for 2026 will align with the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum, reflecting the structure of the senior secondary level for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology topics, and will be based on NCERT. Candidates need to be familiar with the NTA syllabus for NEET 2026 as it pertains to specific topics.

The syllabus for the NTA NEET 2026 exam will include three disciplines: Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. The highest number of questions will come from Biology, which will be split into Zoology and Botany.

Aspirants studying for the NTA UGC NET examination must be familiar with the syllabus. The syllabus is prepared to test the candidates who eant to become assistant professors, junior research fellows (JRF), or pursue doctoral studies.

The UGC NET syllabus is divided into two parts: UGC NET Paper 1 Syllabus 2025 and UGC NET Paper 2 Syllabus 2025. The syllabus for UGC NET Paper 1 is uniform for all candidates participating in the exam. Conversely, the syllabus for UGC NET Paper 2 differs based on various subjects. Paper 2 includes subject-specific questions related to the candidates' areas of specialisation, while Paper 1 consists of 50 questions and Paper 2 contains 100 multiple-choice questions, all to be completed in 3 hours. Beginning in December 2024, the Commission added 'Ayurveda Biology' as a new subject to the current list of UGC NET subjects.

The CSIR UGC NET syllabus includes subjects from five areas: Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The syllabus for Part A is identical across all five subjects. Part A features questions about General Science, Quantitative Reasoning, Analysis and Research Aptitude. In contrast, the syllabi for Parts B and C vary by subject. The CSIR NET syllabus for Parts B and C is vital for candidates, as this section is a key component of the CSIR NET Exam.

The CUET syllabus is mostly taken from the NCERT curriculum for class 12. The syllabus has 13 languages, 23 domain subjects, and a General Aptitude Test. Each subject has a particula syllabus for CUET 2026 exam. The NTA provides CURT syllabus PDFs that can be downloaded for various subjects like Science, Commerce, and Arts from the official website - cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates should thoroughly check the CUET syllabus to get hold of all the topics that are asked in the exam.

The CUET PG syllabus 2026 is broadly based on the graduate level subjects, however, candidates can expect some questions that require a higher analytical and practical approach. The CUET PG syllabus is released for all domains like MBA, psychology, economics, MSc zoology and many other subjects on the official website of CUET PG. NTA has divided the CUET PG syllabus into 6 domains of subject courses. The domains are: Acharya, Common Humanities, Languages, MTech and Science stream.
