Periyar University Placement Report 2025
As per the NIRF Report released by the Periyar University, A total of 27 UG 3-year students secured placements during Periyar University placements 2024. The median packages for courses like BA, BSc, BCom and others was INR 1.80 LPA. Since 2023, the median package has declined from INR 3.36 LPA to INR 1.80 LPA.
During PG 2-year course ( MBA, MCA and others) placements 291 students were placed. The median package for these courses was INR 2.04 LPA. When compared with last year, the median package has decreased by 34.6%. However, the number of students has increased from 161 to 291.
Out of 11 PG 5-year (integrated) students, 5 students secured placements. The median package offered to the PG 5-year (integrated) students was INR 2.50 LPA. During Periyar University placements 2023 the median package stood at INR 1.44 LPA, presenting a growth of 73.66%.

TANCET scores are valid for a period of one year. Candidates aspiring for admission in 2023-24 exam session can only use the TANCET 2023 scores for admission. Candidates who wish for an MBA Admission in any of the TANCET participating colleges in 2024-25 batch must appear for TANCET 2024.

Yes, JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) marks are accepted by Periyar Maniammai University for admission to its engineering majors.
