MAHGU Seat Reservation 2025

MAHGU reserves 31% of total seats for students who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand. Apart from this, the university also reserves seats for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD (with minimum disability to the extent of 40%). The admission process is held in both online and offline methods. Step 1: Application Process

Interested candidates who fulfil the specified eligibility ccriteria an visit the official website of MAHGU to fill the application form online. Alternatively, students can also download the prescribed form from the university's official website and after filling it out duly, send it to the Admission Cell of MAHGU, Uttarakhand and Information centers with a payment of INR 1,000 as a demand draft drawn in favour of "Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University" payable at Dehradun. Once the students are admitted to the University, an Anti-Ragging affidavit by students & parents both on stamp paper INR 10 duly attested by the oath commissioner/notary, has to be submitted.

Step 2: Selection Process

Once the registration is done, the candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the entrance exams for the respective courses they chose. Admissions to the MBA programme are done on the basis of valid score obtained in MAT/ CAT while scores obtained in MAHGUEE are considered for admissions to other courses. The university also conducts group discussion followed by a round of personal interview to shortlist the candidates for certain programmes.

Step 3: Counselling and Fee Payment

The shortlisted candidates will then be called in for counselling based on which seats will be allotted. Once the seats have been allotted the students will have to pay the course fee to complete the admission process.
