It is an average college for BA degree students.

Placements: Approximately 30 to 40 of the students got placed through off-campus. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. None of the companies visited our college for conducting placement drives. About 10 to 20% of the students got internships from our college.

Infrastructure: The college does not provide Wi-Fi. Labs, classrooms and library facilities are very good, but teachers don't come to the classroom to teach us. Food quality of the mess is average. Medical facilities are average, but sports and games are good on our campus. There is no separate canteen in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. They help us only if we approach them and ask about problems. Teachers normally don't visit in the classroom. The course curriculum is relevant, and it was recently updated, which is very helpful for us.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like to build a career in geography, and I have a lot of interest to study geography knowledge. The college should give updates from time to time which will be better to improve the course. Every year fests are organised in our college.

Review of Maharaja Ganga Singh University.

Placements: The college doesn't offer any placements as it doesn't have any placements cell, like in the private universities. Since it is a government college there, the focus is only availed the higher education to students at very fewer fees, i.e., Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 5,000. You have to find a job by ourself.

Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of our college is quite good but doesn't offer Wi-Fi. Classrooms are not modern, and they still use traditional blackboards to teach. Sports events are good, a wide range of games are offered. Many enthusiastic students got into the state level in many games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were good. All possess experience of more than 25 years in teaching. The quality of teaching was good but not exceptional. The course is the same as what the other universities provide in bachelor of commerce course. Recently they introduced the subject GST in the course in the final year of B.Com. Another important thing is that in this university, there is no trimester system or semester system, you have to attend the exam at the end of the year. Students should have 75% of attendance, but you don't have to worry about anything, as college maintain students attendance regardless of whether they attend the class or not.
