- Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination for general candidates, and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- The candidate must have obtained a clear pass in each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English individually.
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31 December of the year of admission.
