The programme is especially designed for students to gain practical work experience through industry oriented curriculum, internships, Industrial visits, and placements in a prominent media organizations and also interaction with leading professionals. The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication provides students with a full-fledged Community Radio Station for radio, fully equipped news room studio for television programme production, media laboratory for print media production. Step 1: Mangalayatan University BA Application Process 2024

Mangalayatan University BA admission commences with the application procedure. Eligible candidates can either fill out the appliction form online or  download the forms from the university's official website. The completed application form can be submitted online or in person to the respective department at the university. Additionally, candidates are required to pay the application fees of INR 500 online or pay the fee offline while submitting the form at the office.

Step 2: BA Selection Rounds

Admission to the BA courses at Mangalayatan University follows both merit-based and entrance-based criteria. For, BA in Mass Comminication courses, candidates must qualify for entrance exams. However, for the remaining BA specialisations admisison is merit-based. Candidates must secure 45% aggrgaet in class 12 is required for BA admission.

Step 3: Merit List Release & Counselling

Following the completion of all selection rounds, candidates are required to participate in the counselling process for their respective courses. Subsequently, Mangalayatan University will release merit lists comprising the names of selected candidates in various rounds. Students whose names appear on the merit list must pay a specific amount of fee to secure their seat in the desired course.

Mangalayatan University BA admission is merit and entrance based. The admission vary as per the BA specialisations. BA admisison is entirely merit-based. Candidates must secure 45% aggrgate in class 12 for BA admission.  However, for BA in Mass Comminication courses, candidates must qualify the entrance exams followed by a personal interview. The entrance exam accepted by the university is Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

The last date for submitting applications for the MUJEE exam was July 4, 2025. The application for the MUJEE exam can be filled out and submitted on the official website of Mangalayatan University.
