Review of MATS University.
Placements: I can't say anything about the placements as we didn't get many opportunities at that time in 2016. We didn't get a chance to be placed as the UG companies were not visiting the campus. Only 2-3 companies were visiting the campus and from them that we didn't get any response from their end.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, MATS Unversity was not big but we had a lot of fun there. The campus was good. The hostel was quite good during our course duration. But the food served was worse.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were awesome. Each one of them was helpful with regard to everything not only professional but personal as well. Teachers were knowledgeable in all contents. We even got a chance to interact with the faculty members one on one. For every help, we needed, they were available.
Other: During our course, each day was phenomenal. We had new experiences and filled with fun. All the fests and events were held. It was great fun there.

I am dissatisfied because of placements provided.
Placements: Only 5 students got placed in our college out of a batch of 300 students. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Motilal Oswal was one of the top company which comes for placement. Around 2% of the students got placed in Motilal Oswal. College doesn't provide with a sip you have to search on your own.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, but we can use 100 MB, not more than that. There are only computer labs for B.Com students, and they are not in working conditions. Classrooms are usually big, and it has a good space. The library is huge and contains all the books whichever you need. The quality of the mess and canteen is really bad. There is no availability for sports and games as it is in only one building of the city.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. If students pay attention to the class, they can do well. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is up to date. It helps students so much to connect with today's corporate world.
Other: I chose B.Com because I want to continue with an MBA in the future. The best thing about this course is that it helps me to connect with today's corporate world. Some more courses should be added to this course for betterment. After taking specialisation, the proper curriculum should be made. There are very few events and fests are held on campus.

Totally useless and wastage of money
Placements: In our batch only 2-3 students are placed. Very less salary offered approximately 8000 and 1-2 companies only came for placement. Top companies don't come in this university. This university is useless in terms of placement, salary, internship as well as studies.
Infrastructure: Very poor infrastructure. Not so much attractive classrooms are available, no facility of library in this university. There is facility of computer labs but for our course labs are totally useless. They don't take us to computer lab not for single period during entire course.
Faculty: Teachers are not so much helpful. They are not interested to upgrade their students. They are not interested in teaching at all. Many teachers do not come to class regularly. Maximum teachers have very poor teaching quality. They take us to only one industry visit. Course curriculum is not relevant, it does not make the students industry ready.

Absolutely I am satisfied just because placements in our college are really good.
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed. The lowest salary of Rs.10,000 per month and the average salary of Rs.10,000 to 30,000 per month are offered. Reliance and Shrishivam, etc., are the top recruiters to our college. Management and marketing field are the top roles offered. The lowest salary package of 50,000 per annum and the average salary package of 50,000 to 75,000 per annum and the highest salary package of 1 lac per annum are offered in our college. Above 60% of the students got internships from our college in Reliance company.
Infrastructure: Every room is air-conditioned, and the facilities are very good at our college. Wi-Fi facility is also available on our campus, and the library was very good where any kind of notes are easily available. Faculty members are very supportive. The hostel of our college is very good as all the facilities are available in the hostel. The quality of food is also good in the mess, and the canteen food is also very tasty and affordable. Sports and games facilities are also available in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and highly qualified in our department. Their teaching quality was best, and we were glad to have these faculty members. Our course curriculum was relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. The best thing about our course is that it provides much better opportunities, which were a benefit for students.

It is the best college to get educated with all the basic facilities.
Placements: The college provides great placement opportunities. They invite lots of companies for placements. Many previous year students were placed with a salary package of 4-6 LPA. They offer a good job profile. We also get a summer internship programme opportunity from the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It is located in the heart of the city. There are very well-structured classrooms. We have also got separate rooms for computer labs and to practice interior designing. There are smart classrooms with a comfortable seating arrangement. We also have a good library.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good and helpful. They are always there for our help at any moment. They are also well qualified and knowledgeable. The college offers several courses like MBA, M.Com B.Tech, B.Sc. fashion designing, computer course, law, BBA, B.Com, etc. There are a variety of courses which helps us to grow in our career.
Other: We get a scholarship on the basis of our academic performance. Our college organises lots of events and activities. We get a chance to attend guest lectures which are very helpful.

I would rate it as an average grade college.
Placements: There are good opportunities for those students, who want pursue a career in the job with a decent package to start with and you get various attempts to get into any of the company. Even, there are efforts made by the college side to get you placed in the decent one. But, I don't want it, so didn't apply for that.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are mainly clean and good. The college has the various facilities like air-conditioner, projectors for the presentations, and properly arranged benches and windows. The campus has the various departments for the extra co-curriculum activities and separate departments for them. The library is with thousands and thousands of book. The computer lab and various science laboratories are well-maintained. There is a cafeteria to chill in spare time.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are helpful, and the others being mean. They teach in the traditional style with no extra creativity. They just focused on the completion of the syllabus, and prepared you for exams and get your projects done on time. You have to bare some time with them to get your stuff done on time.

Other: It is the costliest college in Raipur but it provides the best facilities, which makes it worth the money. The college has nice faculty and has a decent campus. There is no free Wi-Fi in the campus and also, there are no placements for the B.Com students, which is a matter of concern.

Other: MATS College is the best college (not one of the best) for UG and PG courses in the city. First thing you will notice is its large campus and great infrastructural facilities. The classes are interactive and the faculty is supportive in nature. They deal with every corner of curriculum. They have both knowledge and articulation. Regular test, group discussions are all conducted. The eating joints are sufficient to meet your appetite. The placements are among the best of entities in the city itself and also from nearby bigger cities like Nagpur and Pune. The only grip I have is that there were not much sporting activities in the college.
