MDSU Campus Highlights
MSDU University, with its 464 affiliated colleges, spread over four districts, namely Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, and Tonk, offers its students access to Hi-Tech science laboratories, a prestigious library, and a well–organised administrative and examination block. It has separate blocks for Science, Social Science, Environmental Science, and Management, along with a highly impressive Vice Chancellor’s secretariat room.
The campus of MDSU features a hospital staffed with five qualified doctors specialising in various medical fields, providing students with the best possible healthcare services. MDSU campus also features a full-fledged branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) as well as a post office and cafeteria for its students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

MDSU Hostel Facilities
MDSU offers hostel facilities for both its boys and girls students. The boys' hostel is named Nachiketa, which has a capacity of accommodating 40 boys. The rooms in the hostel are single-bedded, with the hostel mess being maintained by the students on a cooperative basis.
A variety of communities and clubs, including cultural clubs, discipline, sports, mess, and maintenance, have been established to encourage personality development of the boys residing at the hostel. Some other amenities available at Nachiketa are as follows:

- Solar-powered water heaters and solar lights in common areas and on the approach road

The girls' hostel, named Gargi, is capable of housing 80 students. It was started in 2017 and consists of 16 rooms with double occupancy and 48 rooms of single occupancy. Students have at their disposal a variety of facilities, including a mess that provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a television room. More such facilities are listed below:

MDSU Library
MDSU library is a three-storied building named ‘Saraswat Bhavan’, spanning over an area of 51,000 sq. meters, of which 15,00 square meters is reserved for the reading area. It houses 57478 books. The University library is unique and the first in the state to be fully automated since June 2003, having the technical and financial support of the UGC's INFLIBNET and operating on SOUL 2.0 software.
The library timings are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, on all working days. Students can borrow a book for 14 days, and research scholars or JRF/part-time teachers can issue a book for an entire month. A late fine of INR 1 is applicable for students and research scholars.
With a total count of 2827 books being added during the last four years, master's level students can borrow 4 books at a time, while research scholars can issue 6 books, and other students can borrow 2 books. Some of the library collection is as follows:

MDSU Sports Facilities
The University lays focus not only on academics but also on the overall development of its students. It organises inter-collegiate sports events for chess, cricket, football, etc, for boys and athletics, lawn tennis, badminton, boxing, and a wide range of other sports for both girls and boys. Additionally, there are designated courts for basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, and more for student use. MDSU University places importance on a healthy lifestyle while also promoting a sense of community among students.

MDSU located in Rajasthan, offers a plethora of activities to do and events to attend. Students can start their day by visiting Jateshar Dham, just 10 minutes away from the University. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University's library has a collection of 50537 books, 235 current periodicals, 10221 reports, 35 audio-visual collections and 3200 CD. The readers are benefited with lending services, reading room facility, reference services, etc. The library uses UGC - INFLIBNET Program and SOUL 2.0 software. Instead of cards catalogue, On-line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is available for readers.
- Hostel
The hostels have a solar water heater, solar lighting in common areas and on the approach road. The hostel provides the students with daily newspapers and various magazines to make them aware of the daily happenings of the world. The Maitreyi Hostel (for working women) has especially been constructed in the campus, opposite Gargi Girls Hostel to provide comfortable affordable and secure residential facilities to women in jobs. Accommodations will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University campus spans over 310 ha of land area in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The University has excellent infrastructure for conferences, seminars and meetings, centrally air-conditioned, state-of-the-art auditorium, conference halls and meeting rooms. The Science Departments of the University have Hi-Tech laboratories having the most modern lab equipment for research and practical training for students. The classrooms are modernised with sophisticated furniture and other modern teaching aids like smart boards, Visualizers, Multi-Media Projectors, Over Head Projectors, LCDs and other Audio-Visual aids.
The Central Library is housed in a separate three-storied library building named 'Saraswat Bhawan' with immense textual and non-textual reading material in a variety of documents concerned with different subjects. In addition to the general and reference books (53100), the collection also covers sufficient periodicals (221 current + 4720 back volumes), reports (1240), conference proceedings, statistics, and audio-visual material CDs/ CD Databases. The library has reading room, Xerox, back sets of journals, consultation of theses and dissertations, old newspapers, inter-library loan, select bibliographical services and OPAC.
The library remains open on all working days from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. MDSU library houses a total of 57478 books, including plenty of periodicals, theses, CDs, etc. They also offer a variety of newspapers and other complimentary materials for students to remain up-to-date with current events. The library also offers its students the facility of a reading room spread over an area of 1500 sq.mtr with an option to borrow four books for an entire month for master's students; meanwhile, other students can borrow one for 14 days.
